Hello Dawn, your locs are pretty. I had to learn how to accept my white greys. I'm a lil older than you, and I've learned that if you're coloring my hair I will never win trying to cover them. I love my white greys now and my locs. I've been locked for a year anniversary on the 20th Nov. 😅

I cant grow mine out that long, my head and neck hurt really bad. More power to those who can grow their locs out but ive come to understand this round of locs (est. Oct 2013) arent meant to grow forever. Eventually i will start over when I have children. So i cut them to my shoulders when they start hanging at the length that you cut yours too. The first cut always feels painful but once im finished i feel less tense and more refreshed.

When you did a double twist did the rubber band damage the ends afterwards? I too like the clean finish of the turned up ends but found it impacted the ends once the bands were removed. Love the length in the above video. Your face looks beautiful. I lock mine with Aloe Gelley from a tube. How often do you relock?
