Cutting your hair either strenghens your self confidence or breaks it then forces you to accept your face AS IT IS ! Either way, it's great

Ooh chile YES! the loose natural is for the birds!! 😩 I’m getting ready to go BACK to my locs (had em for 9 yrs, but have been loose for 2) Got it twisted yesterday because I’m running back to my locs 🏃🏾‍♀️💨 Your locs are beautiful, btw.

SammyDaGawd I had neck surgery awhile ago, and with the weight and length (to my waist), they were causing pain . All I knew is that I wanted the pain to stop, so I started cutting and combing out. Had I not been so in my feelings, I would’ve just left them chin length, instead combing them out.

Watching this video just solidifies the faith I have in the Loctician I chose. When I knew I wanted to start my loc journey I did a lot of research on the many Locticians around me. The way you started your locs is essentially how she started mine. It’s like just by looking at my hair she knew that all the parting couldn’t be equal because of the way my hair texture and density was. As I come to my 3rd month of this journey I can see now how pivotal that type of information is.

I love your approach to your locks. I also did different sizes in different places on my head based on the density and thickness of the strands. At first, I felt a bit insecure about it, because there are so many people talking about making sure that the sizing and parting are even, but I knew the overall look that I was going for, so I decided to vary the sizes. So far, I am happy with the result.

I love your method and rationale of determining the size(s) of your locks. I did the exact same thing. I have always done my own hair and have about 4 textures and curl patterns and did very small around my edges thinking about when they got heavy i didn’t want to lose them. My edges can handle smaller locks. I also did larger ones at my crown and in the back.

Hello, I have not loc my hair yet. I'm thinking to get it done in April. Your videos are very informative and I love your energy and spirit. You have explained a lot and I think I will move forward with locs. However, my hair is already really thick and in the middle of my back. I have never had a relaxer in my life. So, the size would be imperative to me and may be the hardest decision to make because I dont wont my locs to be heavy.
@fatimamanneh9432
@fatimamanneh9432 4 жыл бұрын
You are right size matters I did small braids to start my because my hair strands are thin so I didn’t want anything heavy on my follicles now that my locs are maturing they are still small & light even when wet I have 196 locs I knew when I started if I wanted to keep hair on my head I had to do them small even when I used to do my own box braids I always put in really skinny ones because I know my hair no matter how much water I drink or eat fruits and veggies my hair will never be thick or grow more follicles
