Brilliant to have you back mate. Absolutely love your stuff. Your the most knowledgeable guy on these mines. I’d love to go down them. Always climbing mountains. Would love to climb inside one. ❤😁👍

I've photographed that winding sign 3x+ It's a balance between preserving by taking to a place of safety for protection against thieving clowns + vandals against letting it rot away.

Anything left under Oakeley worth a look or too flooded / risky ? The Horse Tunnel ? Rarely ever visited or seen.
@osianpiercy88419 ай бұрын
Unfortunately on going un topping works have left the entrances un accessible
@shonkytours20399 ай бұрын
You can still get in through the mine next door, but horse tunnel has been gone since the 80's. It was just left of the railway tunnel on same level as the bridge which led to old Mills (tip now cleared and where recycling centre is now) Just below the railway tracks there is drainage adit which goes in 400m, this was used for horses too I think

Have you done the pen yr orsedd adit yet ? Not big but an easy day out before it's all gone ? Start from Y fron and it's downhill all the way butt.

Yes been in, they don't go too far, all locked, but there are a couple of old carts in one
