For what it's worth, I really enjoy these interesting videos on the real meta of the game, i.e. sometimes what's competitive but also what people are having fun with. I'm still painting my Brets due to other commitments, but this channel keeps me feeling like I'm part of the community, and looking forward to my first game maybe soon.

What would be really great for these videos is to start by showing a faction breakdown for the event. Just to quickly show us what armies there are. An added bonus would be in the video description time stamps for the different lists but I get that's alot of extra work.

the good thing about all this is that the meta is STILL shifting, after 10 months, and that is a really good sign. people are STILL craft theorys and i bet there will be more meta strats comming up, even some including heavy infantry. im personaly a vampire player and the screaming meta is so damn dominant that i feel like people dont even wanna try anything else. but i love to play off meta, and i had some GREAT games with mass skeleton and zombies. like seriously good games. really, the only thing that NEEDS a fix ASAP, is the magic game. forcing us to play ATLEAST 1 lvl 4 no matter what is so damn annoying...... for real, every list HAVE TO start with a lvl 4, otherwise you might as well dont wanna show up to the game. i dont mind the monster, the kav or the shooting meta.......... because i can play around that. a lvl 4 on the other hand is nothing you can counter, UNLESS you play one urself!!!! and that sucks lol :)

50 poison archers was how I ran TK in 8th as well. 6th and 7th was fun times though. Had a few different builds back then. The all mounted/chariot army with turn 1 Carrion charge into warmachines was my favorite.

Oh boy I would not like to play against either of those TK lists. Since TK are my standard enemy I have played against variations of those: Not fun! (also not very engaging since the TK player dictates the whole game) List 1: Utter dominance, insane healing, 36+ Poison arrows, all-killing ushabti. Just hard. List 2: shoots you and when you finally close the gab you'll be hit with -2 to hit by the caskets of souls. (-_-)

I'm an avid follower of Andy's channel and it's really worth a look especially if you like Dwarfs. The first thing you'll find if you try it is that he's obviously a really nice bloke. He also clearly understands and thinks about the game a lot and is very good at talking through a battle explaining what he was trying to do and what he thinks his opponent was trying to do. He also discusses the issues with the way the game is at the moment which includes being critical of things he's trying as well as what his opponents are bringing and some of the shonky rules. He's tried all sorts of Dwarf lists. Most of what he comes up against has some sort of big flying character that makes a mockery of the game if he's gone with more of an old-fashioned Dwarf army. He's tried these lines before and it seemed to bring him up to something closer to parity with the stuff that has the big nasty stuff so it's hard to blame him for trying it again. It will be something of a surprise if it gets him to anywhere better than mid-table though, it didn't do amazingly well before. It will obviously depend a bit on matchups - some of the lists Rob went through don't look hyper-competitive (which is nice to see), but the great majority look like they've got something that will be challenging for Dwarfs in them.
