Thank you for that great upgrade and improvement. I've had one of those similar, yet ineffective air deflector things before, but my wife complained about all the humidity coming back into the house. I'm glad you have that figured out how to separate the heat from the moisture. Thanks again, I ordered 3... one for my Mom, my sister, and myself.

Too turbulent a flow to separate out the dry air and the damp air - laminar flow would be hard to achieve out of dryer - a jacketed section of pipe where air could be passed over the heated inner pipe would be best to completely separate the phases.

Radiant heat using solid wall ducting. Put a diverter at the dryer outlet. Have one short duct to exterior for summer. One long duct either to a separate "winter" exterior exhaust, or looped back to the "summer" side of the diverter exhaust. Make the Winter loop or run just long enough so the duct radiant temperature drops to where you want it just before it exhausts. Radiant heat, no moisture, no lint. Stay gold.

@@LincolnLog I just read a pamphlet that says you shouldn't use gasoline or baby wipes.... vegetable oil is okay. Thanks for the heads up.

I just fixed a dryer that was vibrating, It had dryer sheet in the blower fan. The air is coming out of the dryer way to fast for this to work, all the air is the same temp.

No way do I want perfumed air in my house. Yuk. Fresh, clean air, yes. Manmade scent chemicals wafting in my house more than there is already from off-gassing of existing household, no thanks. I AM interested in the warm, moist air staying inside the house kn the winter tho. I’ll have to look for the product bc the posters didn’t include a link.
