Currently, I am studying a Master of Emergency and Disaster Management at CDU. I choose to do an assignment on Peter Walker and stumbled across this presentation. That was excellent. I feel a little inspired, thank you.

I completely agree. Locally-led responses are the best way to go, even though the preliminary work needed to get them in place can be daunting.

Localization of aid should start also from localization of consultancy and locally-led decision in at-least 50% of global humanitarian and development aid, in favor of small community based organizations (sCBOs).
