It really is all about the bread. I went to get a Bahn Mi in Texas and was disappointed because the owners wasn’t using a French baguette for his. He used an Italian load instead. But not only mayonnaise and ketchup, banh mi are also filled with soy sauce They could balance the taste of the soy sauce by putting spices into their soy sauce like adding sugar, hot sauce. And it still delicious, full of nutrients, greenish vegetables, proteins.

I used to eat these everyday after school... a stand was always just out front of school - along with other food and toy vendors. I sure miss Vietnamese food and people. My dad is Vietnamese...

Bullshit!! This place is famous then ppl name it MOST DELICIOUS BÁNH MÌ. Im Vietnamese, there are tons & bunches of yummy delicious BÁNH MÌ STALLS LIKE THIS IN ALOT PLACE AROUND THE CITY!! Btw, I’m support smaller shop as much as I can, they’re not get attention by youtubers, vlog so they’re not famous. But their foods is delicious just similar. If anyone eat at 1 stores, they’re help one people become rich. While I eat alots stalls foods around, help others people (this is my my opinion) Of course I do have my FAVORITE STALL FOODS & my favorite restaurants/SHOP!! I will eat there more usually. But sometimes I still buy food stalls in others places & support smaller food stalls!! I’m not blind to just support 1 lady & 1 shop!! Btw, VIETNAM PEOPLE IS BEAUTIFUL & HARDWORKING ❤❤❤

At my local area, a Banh Mi only takes 12-15k VND (almost $ 0.7). It's my savior during the school period, from secondary school to colleague.

This is the best banh mi, but almost like an urban legend because no one can actually get there in time before everything is gone. I actually ate there only twice.
