Hard to tell but are these bolts easily accessible to loosen and tighten from the underside like that or do they need to be accessed elsewhere?

you can go on the sides behind the tire and above the frame rail. you'll have to remove the splash shields.

I get wanting to remove all the coolant but the better way is to just do several drain and fills via the radiator. Less chance of leaks and Toyotas preferred method.

I see your point. But if you have a previous owner that put the wrong coolant I’d want to do a block drain and get as much out. Thanks for watching!

This is inaccurate. The drain plugs from the engine block are located next to the ones indicated in the video. They have the drain valve on the side, size 10mm.

It would have been fun had he opened it (and still posted the video). Some people make a slotted socket to pull the whole coolant fitting. Tastes vary.

He literally pointed them out in the video… the bolt with the valve on it… it’s pretty obviously shown in the video. He was correct!

Doug Daniel sorry. All my new videos just have text instead of me talking. I used a 1/4” ratchet with 3” extension. Driver side you can get from underneath. If you can’t do the same on the passenger you can access through the wheel well opening after you remove the mud guards.
