This is an experimental video, What other topics would you like some shorts made on?
@Nutball332 жыл бұрын
I think people would like shorts on certain districts, wonders or units, doing a quick in depth review of them. For axample, you could do a special unit, how they could best be used, and what they do etc.

Ideas for quick tip videos: - Starting build order - 5 civilizations for beginners/particular victory condition - quick guide to x civilization or y game mechanic/district - rules for people to do self imposed challenges - summarize an exploit - mod spotlight - often missed tricks (emptying a production queue to benefit from a chop, underused UI options, etc)

@@WitherBossEntity"- when to build the Venetian Arsenal" How is this a question? You're obviously supposed to beeline Mass Production after getting Apprenticeship, building an Industrial Zone along the coast in the meantime so that you can get to work on building it as soon as it's unlocked.

Quick bits, I like it. Would love to see some of these directed at the various systems of the game such as religion and tourism. Top it off with quick overviews of any given civs strengths and weaknesses and I think people will enjoy this format.

I'd really like a short explanation on building a dam vs. not building a dam if you could. Pro's vs. Cons. Cheers in advance, if you do. :)
@hamdoggius2 жыл бұрын
If you are playing against AI; build every dam possible for any city you want production in, it gives great adjacency bonuses to your industrial zone - it's almost worth a military engineer charge or two. If you can build it in between two cities, that's your wet dream. Against people you have to be more careful; they WILL send spies into your dam districts. At the very least this will damage multiple tiles and likely wipe several population from the city. I recommend placing spies in districts neighboring your dams to counter this.

have at least one or two cities crank up encampments. the best are border cities near potential enemies for extra protection with walls. it gives you more storage for strategics, better for producing military, and you can make military engineers to help with building dams/aqueducts quicker. fun tip, use all but one charge so the engineer can stick around and build railroads long term later on.

District prio list/Build order. Ranking them in potential (tiers) for each victory type; - Districs -> What should be the first district I build, should I build an Industrial Zone in every city, are Harbors a must in all coastal cities, when to prioritize holy site in your capital (early game) - OP combinations (Leaders+Religion+Wonders and stuff similar); - Tips & Tricks; - Fun challenges to do yourself;

Which techs/civics are best to rush: Early Game, Mid Game, Late Game. Could be 3 shorts there. Possibly too contextually dependent. IDK, maybe I'm talking rubbish, but I like the idea of these shorts so I thought I would give a comment
@Levantinyx2 жыл бұрын
I'd break it down into an early game overview (as it's rather shortterm dependent) and then what are core techs/civics/unlocks for specific game archetypes (tourism, science/prod, religion win, domination) as midgame is where you want to beeline stuff and I often feel like I set up a good foundation but just win off of the guaranteed returns instead of refining my empire into a win engine (I tend to try to do too much of everything as I'm unsure what is good to do now for my specific win plan)
