Very cool video! I found it interesting that the AI seems to have often chosen to raze conquered cities and resettle; in the late game, we saw fewer cities under foreign occupation (like Washington) and most places where once civ pushed back another, they recolonized it with cities in their own language.

Never learned to play beyond "2". I played Prince or King level... Sometimes Emperor... Seven civilizations... Large world. My favorite strategy was to build the pyramids for food, the great wall for defense, them shoot for democracy as fast as possible...and build the Statue of Liberty...and go fundamentalist...( Way before fundamentalism is discovered )... to stabilize my cities. Then.proceed to roll over everyone. With a focus on libraries , universities, and eventually research labs to keep the pace of my discoveries competitive with the democracies and republics. It was FUN.

That's a hugely important dynamic in most Civ VI games; for ex., the role that the militaristic ones esp. play in helping their suzerain overlords win a war. I just found this video. I haven’t even watched it yet but I will, I promise, in full. But I wanted to say this first. You’re the first ytber I’ve seen that plays the huge earth map and based on the thumbnail I’m assuming you chose teddy… If you haven’t already, could you please do a game of TSLH map, as Monty, with Max leaders. It’s literally the only way I play the game and it’s because of the Panama Canal you can get so early on. Would you please record a game this way? I always get lost once I hit the industrial era, and I sometimes get stuck in dark ages or normal ages because of this and I really want to see a more experienced player emulate this.
