Loch Leven Pike Fishing | Spinning With FishX | Guided trip

We went out for a guided day with Stuart at FishX after Pike.
The venue this time was Loch Leven. A venue I hadn’t been to before.
Brilliant day out with Kyle and Lewis. Great to learn a lot from Stuart about baitcasters and using much bigger lures than I usually use.

Thanks for posting Lads. Enjoyed your banter on Loch Leven. PIKE are the most beautiful fish in the loch. The recent Loch Leven Trout being caught are still the king. But Pike are special. I remember the 1950s when the fisheries used to net the abundant Pike and Perch in the loch,. and taken away in Tipper Trucks and dumped in the local Tip. Remember there were some Monster Pike among the big Perch. Always thought it would be great if you were allowed to fish for Pike in those days.

Thank you for watching. Pike are certainly very beautiful. I love the patterns and colours. Hopefully fisheries are realising how valuable it is to have pike in their waters.
