i spent all last summer working out of Inverness and stealth camping in my van at nights (air matress and sleeping bag), Foyers was one of the routes i done regularly , the guy in the post office/shop/cafe was very generous with free ice cream cones ,he wouldnt take payment , top memories

My son and his wife have lived on a narrow boat for eight years . They used to be based on a local marina but started working and trading on the canals in summer and autumn for the last two years . They work as artists and have a new KZbin channel called art in the corridor and like you they have a little dog called Mabel.😊 And yes they do freeze up in the winter 🥶

I remember walking down to the waterfall a few years back. I'm none too steady on my feet going downhill and I was cacking my pants! Happily, I made it down in one piece. Loving your vlogs, especially all these Scotland ones. I've done an annual road trip up there every year other than lockdown year and a few years after that.

I used to have a narrowboat named Little Witch, I moored in a marina, but some people do constant mooring and canals only close for repairs or if there is ice. a lot of boats take up moorings in winter and some get their boats lifted out of the canal. Constant cruisers can only stay in one place for a specific length of time.

If you live on a narrow boat you can pay and have a morning but they are very expensive or you are a full time cruiser you have to move every 2 weeks and you have to cover at least 29 miles a year good luck Kev.

The falls are very pretty, well done for getting back up that hill , without even any hand rails. That does look if it may have been to much for me. I would have felt scared without something to be holding onto. I think I would have needed to be washing my pants after walking back up that slope. Hehe isn’t everywhere so pretty even in winter. I think JP found everywhere he goes is closed for winter ,apart from an odd shop. Should your food have been for one person really. Blimey what a portion., it did look nice.

rent a cruiser from inverness, we done it for 12 days and it was amazing, sitting in Fort Augustus for 3 nights was brill, there is piers all up and down the loch thats free to use(included in your hire rate)

probably one of the best N.O.T vids yet. Not only great scenery, fantastic video editing and some great music to brighten my sunday but Mark gets enough Chinese to feed half the population of Bolton lol. Must be the only chinese meal ever where you get a workout just carrying it before you even get to eat it🤣 Loved the area round the caladonian lochs. Its deffo a must visit destination. When my nightmare rebuild of Viv is done , its on the bimble list maked "If its good enough for Lisa and Mark, its good enough for me" Oh and Mark, Chico's eyes are just where they need to be, on his fab furby face big whoof to Chico.
