Love your vids guys and I'm so happy you are happy doing the van life. You're absolutely right what you say, how long are you going to live eh, you might as well go for it whilst you have time left. My folks were going to go touring in their van, they bought a nice van, started kitting it out and then my father was diagnosed with cancer. It took him so quickly a few months later he was gone. I'm thankful that he did fill his life up before we lost him though, he spent several years abroad doing what he loved (his Kareoke kit was always ready in his truck) so I'm pleased they both had an adventure, you never know how long you've got so you have to just do what you want to do and not wait until your too old for it. Keep on truckin, seeing the world through your eyes is a priviledge and for a change one of the wonderful things about the internet is that we can all be a part of it....

Great q and a. I couldn’t agree more with marks comment on you don’t know how long you have in life, we were on holiday in Scotland in June 2021 when hubby died suddenly, only in early 60s, it threw my life into a turmoil, finances were a big issue,but scraped together enough for my old Honda jazz and shortly after his funeral puppy ted and I took off camping in Scotland to finish the places we had been due to visit before the hols ended so badly. No regrets that I quit renting our flat and moved into the car for 6 months in 2022 and 9 months this year as have visited so many lovely places, and of course acquired little Lolly along the way. My you tube channel is tiny, I don’t think I will ever earn any money from it, but I enjoy taking photos and videos and posting the places we visit and lots of other ladies have said they find it inspiring so if it pleases them and my 16 grandkids I’m happy. I know how much work goes into putting videos together and I wish you both every success with your channel and hope it keeps growing and earns you lots of money to enjoy your travels. all the best from Pam, Ted and Lolly xx

OMG the reasons you give are the reasons that are constantly on my mind!!!! I’m single (now) kids live with their mum. I have a small (very) camper. Work online full time (just need 4g). In rented accommodation, expensive to live in Foley next to the ocean. Line manager said just go for it, bro said can use there address as a ‘care of’. I continue to dwell on it, when I should just go for it. Family problems I can relate to. Fractious is the word I would use. KZbin - I put a video out every month or so (not enough I know), but know how long it takes to film content and edit, render, watch back before upload, make changes in a second edit (I’m autistic do that’s a requirement for me), then render again then upload. Yikes takes ages. So two clogs a week - that’s a lot trust me y’all. I live your videos! I’m in mind at this point of my comment of the catch phrase used by American van lifer ‘Bunny Plays here’ … “we’re not here for a long time, but we are here for a good time..” I think that’s something you could relate to. Great vid welll done!

I love watching your vlogs and seeing where you go and what you get up to and you've now shown us that the image you give is actually the real you.The housing market in the UK is the same as in France, we put our house up for sale, they said 6 weeks and it's sold. It didn't so we've rented it out. We still love living in France, after 34 years ,and we still love travelling and tenting in Europe but considering getting an eriba caravan for our retirement, to do some serious long term travelling. Absolutely love watching you two , you are so down to earth . Me and hubby did a similar thing to you , sold up and moved to France in a much cheaper house with no mortgage nine years ago . We bought a camper van and travel around in France and Spain as well as having a base in France ( we are in Spain now for two months ) , as you say , life is short , take the plunge and get out of the rat race , luckily we have three flats in uk and a work pension to support our lifestyle, as my hubby always says , you need money to live , don’t live for money . Great content….. we’ve been touring home and away for a while and we usually use public conveniences for disposal of grey and black waste we are currently torturing in the US and one of the advantages of the cassette loo out here is it can be easily emptied in public restrooms,pit toilets and portable toilets with out any problems as it is designed to do…..#rollingsouth_

We too have been full time for a few years now and just like you we lost a lot of family and friends over a 5 year period and along with other complications we decided to just go for it. Hi, just to let you know that we dropped our caravan and motorhome club membership a couple of years ago and had no trouble renewing our insurance and breakdown associated through them. I called them at the time to check and as long as you were a member when it was 1st set up them existing insurance customers can continue without club membership, which we have done for 2 years, we receive the renewal as normal. Hi Lisa & mark & chicco. I'm new to your videos and they are fantastic one problem I'm having with my motorhome is drying my hair. Have same facilities as your selves with bathroom but cannot find a decent hairdryer the one I found plugs into USB but only blows cold. Did find some USB straighteners which are fine from amazon. Could you point me in the right direction please. Keep up the good videos loving watching them. P.s I'm from durham and found out more from yourselves about my hometown lol x

Great question and answer video. You do well to live in the van full time and not go back home. We love to get back home to regroup and then plan our next trip. You should maybe go back to Spain and Portugal in February as the weather will be warmer and save going to the rest of Europe until August, when the weather should be warmer there
