New members of the group include Scott Olson on guitar (longtime guitarist Howard Leese is no longer with the band), Mike Inez on bass guitar, Ben Smith on drums and Tom Kellock on keyboards.

Oh my GOD the power of her voice, after all these years.... I am absolutely thunderstruck at how moving this song is... And it's even more amazing to know that the recorded version from 1987, Ann had a serious head cold and sinus infection. Nancy tried to get her to wait a day or two, but they went on ahead and recorded it. You can hear the stuffiness and sinus blockage slightly affecting the pronunciation of some words in the song, but my GOD the power she had then, even when she was ill. And still has now. Wonderful. Thank you for putting this up.

Its rare to hear a woman sing with such power and emotion while packaging it with such a beautiful sound. Kinda hypnotizes you right before popping you in the nose ha! Both are out of my era, but Janis Joplin is another one I adore for the exact same reason. The Grunge era was exactly the wrong time period from my tastes in music. The only band I cared for was Alice in Chains who ironically had influences from Heart. 🤷🏽‍♂️
