I found this video to be very informative. I have one of these and have not had your luck with it. However I see were I need to make changes to my procedure. This has been very helpful. I also like that of all the videos I have seen of this unit that you are the first to mention the proper solution concentration as per manufacturer specs. Thanks for the video.

the small ss tank from the 9-liter Hornady sonic cleaner fits in this sonic cleaner almost perfectly.for those that would like to do some indirect cleaning of gun parts or an sonic oil bath

I just got mine but I got the one lower than this for 9mm I think it fits around 200-300 cases . Cant wait to try it out .

its about time someone gives us a demo for this machine ... I live in an Apt in the city and even with double walls i still want to keep it quiet. I am buying my first reloading (station ect) do you think i should skip the tumbler and go with the lock and load in my current living situation or are the tumblers not really all that loud?

What do you do with the liquid once it's used? Is there a flush plug or do you just poor it into the toilet?

Do you rinse the brass after it comes out of the ultrasonic? I forgot to rinse my 6.5 brass with water after it came out of the ultrasonic and put it straight in the dehydrator and my groups were shooting sporadically.

I have always used a vibratory tumbler for pistol brass, one cycle walnut shells, one cycle corncob with NuFinish car wax, depriming and full length sizing, then final cycle with corncob, and NEVER worried about the primer pocket. Why is everybody so concerned about the primer pocket ??????

Just two days ago i tried cleaning some gun parts from a High Standard 22 target pistol. I removed the barrel, slide, and 3 mags but didnt clean the frame or lower parts. This thing stripped Everything including the bluing down to bare metal. I dropped it off at a local guys place near me that is known for great Black Oxide work on pistols and left it with him before rust could get started. I am sure it would have been better if i had not used the cleaning solution and maybe used some Lemishine or Dawn. Just a warning, if you use the One Shot Solution it will strip Everything down to bare metal. Happy Reloading!

fatallyyrs27 I cant really say if it would be safe like that or not as i have no experience with the gun cleaning solution. I do know that the brass cleaning solution stripped my pistol down to bare metal. I have to give special thanks to Mill Creek Gun Works for helping me with this problem, and making my High Standard pistol look like new again. you did not show the primer pockets. my hornady sonic is the same unit you have and it does not clean up the pockets or the inside of the brass . I will probably take it back to cabelas.

I am not sure why you cant hear the sound, i have checked it and the sound seems fine. I really didnt think anyone would question my showing a case that was cleaned by this machine, so i didnt think to show me taking the case out of the cleaner. I guess if i wanted to fake it i could find a way to fake it even by pulling the case out on camera, though i am not sure why i would want to fake a video on a case cleaner.

The Brand of sonic cleaner makes no difference, they are ALL designed to do the job Citirc acid is in most cleaners !! You can buy it in bulk cheap and Dawn dish washing liquid helps too, keeps it on the cheap and does it very well ! IMHO FYI
