Lock Tips: How to Rekey Ford Transit Connect 2010-2013 Door Lock Tibbe Cylinder 2T1Z-18168-A Kit

This is the easiest way I have found to assemble the FORD 2T1Z-18168-A Transit Connect Tibbe Door Lock Cylinder. The lock does not come with instructions.

I am having trouble with the green thing and also the metal thing that you push in it keeps falling off. this is one of the hardest key cylinders I've messed with.

This part is good, but how do you take the lock out? I want to replace mine due to thief taking the spare key.

Remove the door car. Then pull out the retaining clip holding the lock barrel in place. Then turn the lock to the unlock position with the key and the barrel should pull out easily.
