LOCKDOWN. Do you remember this curfew?

Today, on February 8 2024, it's been exactly three years since this video was captured. Perhaps it was the coldest, but certainly the most ridiculous and useless Lockdown that the government has ever imposed on the Dutch population. A curfew has once again been reintroduced. It was a socialist plan to take away our freedom. Between 10 p.m. and 4.30 a.m. everyone banned from the streets, no road- or train traffic in sight. Just the sound of a cold northeastwind.
Taking your dog for a walk. Maybe several times per evening, that was the only legal way to go outside.
Anyway... Railcam Sjanny does not pay attention to government decisions. That's why, she has to be one of the happiest dogs on earth!

Insanity

1st week of March 2020, my little town of 38,000 was a ghost town. Nothing open. Our couple of grocery stores were open thank goodness. Parking lots, sidewalks, street parking empty. I live near I-5 in my town of Western Washington. Freeway empty of traffic. I decided to go for a short walk. I heard 3 sounds that afternoon. My own footfalls on the sidewalk, some breeze through nearby trees, and my own breathing. Talk about feeling alone! By the by, we did ok as a nation despite the crap we were fed. As for me, never got sick, received no vaccine. But, I'm sorry for those who did suffer.
