Invaluable advice. Know a few ''choppers'' but like you mentioned they generally shoot a lot.

Hi Ben ,we have a rabbit clay thats fired almost straight up from a trap thats sixty yards out and goes very high.To the peak its edge on and nobody breaks it ,probably hitting it though. We can shoot it as it drops and turns full face on but its dropping very very fast .Ive hit it a few times with a very fast pull through but not consistent ,How would you shoot this target .When its dropping its probably 35 /40 yards from you but you can see the full round clay as it drops in behind trees

I would firstly find the ground owner and tell them it’s a crap target

what if on a chandelle the best place to shoot it its half way between the peak and ground on the way down? if you go horizontal that bird could be 4 to 6 feet. Same question, what if chandelle is your second bird on a true pair how would you shoot the same target at the same place assuming the bird has peaked when you shot the first?
