Yeah, cop logic, they're even dumber in real life, I remember watching a clip of a couple of (granted, American) cops that came out to a car crash, two victims were sitting on the curb with 2nd and 3rd degree burns, in shock, and as they didn't respond to what the cops were asking, they were both tased and handcuffed for good measure, that's US cops for you. Where I live a drunk driver once crashed his car into a telephone pole, so it broke and leaned dangerously over the road hanging by the wire, I called the local police that showed up half an hour later and refused to admit that they'd been called to the crash, took them a good 15 minutes to realize that _I_ was the one who had reported the incident, despite telling them _numerous_ times. The first thing they do is walk up to the telephone pole and stand directly in its path, while contemplating what to do. Cop #1 says "we better call NESA" (the power company), cop #2 goes "we better call what???", to which cop #1 answers "NESA...", and cop #2 asks "a NESA???" Those muppets were probably the dumbest cops I've ever had the misfortune of having to interact with, and I realized that if they didn't get themselves killed by a falling telephone pole, and if they should have just a minimum of a chance figuring out what happened, they were going to need _all_ the help they could get, so I walked back to my house and got the drunk driver's license plate that he had lost when hitting the telephone pole, and threw it at their feet with the words "I'm sure you two great detectives will have solved this one in no time" and shook my head in disbelief as I walked away, because all they did was stand there and look at the license plate as if they'd never seen something like that before. Cops are quite possibly the dumbest people on the planet.

Hower hilarious that line was, you actually change height during the day. Ok, you'd probably have to haul a heavy pack for the entire day to shrink an inch, if that's even possible, but you do shrink a bit during the day, the explanation I got was that liquid in the cartilage separating the vertebrae slowly seeps to a lower part in the body due to gravity, over the course of a day. When I get in my car after a long day at work, and every morning, I have to adjust the rearview mirror, I wonder if anyone else does that.

Had a small mate of mine at School in England. He had a big Addidas sports bag he used as a school bag. He would place it in the pile of bags outside the science block, curl himself up in it, zip the top and kip whilst missing class. Teachers would prowl the school looking for kids skipping class, but to my knowledge he was never caught!. 🤣
