@wbynan I'm coming from Avid media composer and completly new to Davinci. Basically I'm trying to track a mask of a soda can, only the general shape of the can, yes it does come close and out of frame, and some shots the can also rotates while going close and out of the camera. But when I track it, the mask also rotates and I have to pain stakingly frame by frame fix the mask to keep it just the shape of the soda can. I think what it does is tracks the label on it like a plain and completly rotates the mask. Cane you pleas make one that only tracks the general shape of the soda can. Thank you Mr. Awesomeness!

Simple just 15+/_ steps when there should be ann Efect called (LOCKED ON). Open effects select Locked on click where you want it. all done it just does it.

Or you can just try to use the reframe feature in the inspector… pretty straightforward.

that reframe feature will only somewhat keep the subject in frame and would in no way look like the shot they are creating. the regular tracker or the planer tracker has a lot more functionality
