A Mavs and Luka fan here. Just stopped by to say that I really started to respect Ant in this series. I like how he takes pride in his defence and plays it really well and is not a dirty defender. His discipline on the court is something special. He also showed late last night that he's a killer. He stood alone in the late fourth. He just made a young fella mistake by drawing a big target on his back before the first game. Then the entire team got swept off their feet on the home court and really stopped believing. I predicted this might happen after such a great win over Denver. It drains you emotionally. It happened to Dallas against GSW after shitting all over The Suns and Booker. While Booker was being a bitch about it. That's what Luka learned from Kyrie. They're happy after a win, but completely gather themselves right after. Nothing is done yet. And also ... I hate Gobert. :D Thank you Wolves fans for shouting over Green on TNT. :D LOL, Luka killed them with a dagger three and was sitting right in front of them but they still mad at Draymond. I don't know the Wolves like that. No clue about their cap situation, no idea about any expiring contracts or anything like that. I just know ya'll gave up a lot for Rudy so are a little strapped building through the draft. I don't even know free agency all that well. So I can't really say how the Wolves can retool to beat the Mavs. I just have 2 philosophies on how they would go about doing it. 1) you go defense and you get even better than McDaniels. And hopefully he's a better (more consistent) 3 point shooter than McDaniels and it'd be really ideal if he could also create his own shots. No idea who this person is especially since I just described someone all the teams would love to have on their rosters. But this is just one avenue on how the Wolves would build to beat the Mavs. They need a Luka stopper and sometimes that means not being satisfied with 2nd team all-defense cause with someone like Luka you're gonna need a couple of all-defense defenders to throw at him....kinda like how Dallas has 2 big men to throw at Rudy. 2) you go offense and look for someone to help carry the load for Edwards. Someone who understands that if Ant is gonna be serious about defense and take on the team's best player then Ant is gonna need someone to step up on offense. So would someone like James Harden be attractive to the Wolves? Someone to really legitimize Rudy in the pick n roll with his step-back 3 & passing ability.

You guys never learn do you. I warned against this overconfidence and it fell on deaf ears. Ant is only 22 and that crap you pundits filled up in his head about being Michael Jordan was detrimental to the kids basketball health. Just for the hell of it I looked up Jordan’s stats and when he won his first championship. MJ was drafted I believe 3rd overall in 1984. He didn’t win his first NBA Championship until 1991. MJ wasn’t truly MJ until then. It takes awhile and a lot of seasoning. MJ has had quite a bit more experience in the playoffs than Ant. He may have to go through a bunch more disappointments until he wins. I saw what some of the fans were saying about trade this guy or that guy NONSENSE! This is the first real test this franchise has had since 2004. These players have never won up in the bigs. It takes time to Learn how to win. He’s a 22 year old kid who has extraordinary talent but not the wisdom yet through experience and disappointment. Yes they may have to add a few pieces down the line to get this chemistry down right. But it’s clear the pundits are awful young and maybe need to defer to more experienced voices because you got one guy that’s what 24 years old sheesh barely out of diapers. Enthusiasm doesn’t make up for knowledge and wisdom. Some are pretty hard on the kid sheesh let him grow into a man already and I bet you won’t see melt downs like this. Maybe losing 4 straight isn’t a bad thing for the long haul. It’s a learning experience fraught with disappointment but with pain we’re forged in the fire and come out bad asses on the other side. Relaxxxx. Hey I wanted the whole ball of wax too but once I calmed down I realized champions are forged in fire. I can wait hell other than the Twins (87’ and 91’)it’s been a rough road but it’s possible we’re on the precipice of something wonderful in the Minnesota Sports world soon.

@@coffeehouse1126 What? you sure you a mavs fan cause i remember things differently i remember them beating us only when we didn't have both luka and kyrie playing and we had different team but i picked us in 6 cause i respected the wolves but knew Luka is that guy despite injuries 3-0 i favor of who? at most they would be down or up 2-1 with some luck but definitely not 3-0 cause if lively was on the floor this is a blow out

Let It Ride!! Mavs in 4! Let's GO Mavs!! Luka magic is REAL! Luka Da Don! I heard wolves had a good defense?🤣I'd rather have the Mavs DEFENSE! Our STARS are A LOT Better than you stars! We don't have the 4 time DPOY, no 6th Man, no any All Defense players, or most improved or Best Head Coach, only 1 all-star on this team! Team together less than 6 months! Mavs to the FINALS! 💪 Clutch Luka and Mavs vs Choke Artist Wolves! 😜🤪

It’s just so unfair that KAT who’s had nothing short of a joke of a career, with that huge contract took out the rook who’s been so impactful in these playoffs and this series.

How is KAT kneeing Lively in the groin a basketball move? That happens on any hard top there is a fight.

Kat's role by coach is terible, also coaching wise you are not playing pieces right =) You cant come back Luka will never allow this, remider he was already Mvp and Champion of the europe and youngest to do it all at age 18 playing against grown men. P.s PJ washingtons shot that three that made minesotta cold for next 5 minutes so he's hiting alot. Luka & Kyrie 66 other team 50 so they did alooooot today.

I hate to say I told you so, but all the wolves fans saying the wolves would sweep the mavs because they beat the defending champs never took into consideration that the nuggets won a championship without ever beating a 50 win team. The nuggets were overated and it took you 7 to beat them. The mavs are killers and the wolves will be the third 50 win team they take out this year alone. Jokic us a fruad but now you know.

Best team defensively but can’t defend? It’s coaching and Towns shooting 3’s. These are the biggest flaws of the Wolves.
@jerrystraka78564 ай бұрын
The moment is TOO BIG for the self proclaimed "best players in the NBA" - ANT and KAT. Dallas's best players have far outplayed the Wolves best players - rendering the foolish assertion moot.

The Wolves have more PO experience then the Mavs... what are you talking about? Lively, Hardy, Washington are PO newcomers with 0 experience. Name one newcomer in the Wolves rotation.

@@Smido83 more po experience because Conley is oldest player in the series? Lol even if u do have more po experience how’s that working out now?
@Smido834 ай бұрын
@@mike0817 No clue what your point is... Dallas is just flat out better late in the games and PO experience has nothing to do with it. Its all about talent. Kyrie/Luka are just miles ahead of Ant/KAT. End of discussion! Btw... Dallas fan since 2001, not sure you understood my comment!
