Sean, I hope you don't mind me being so personal...but you're such a real person to me now. For months since I discovered you on KZbin I've been telling everyone; "You have to watch this crazy British guy, he's f*cken great." Well, tonight I just happened across you're TEDx Talk, "What facing 200 prison years taught me about happiness" while walking my pups. I had to sit down at a bus stop and watch rather than listen. I just finished "Locked Up in Arizona (Prison Talk)...and I realized how blessed my life has been. I'll never be able to see you in the same light again...I always admired you and loved your show, but now all I think I will be able to see is not "a crazy British guy", but a man who's been through hell and come out the other side, for the better...and yes, an activist for good. You're amazing.

Your story is unbelievable. I went through a whole range of emotions. Thank you for sharing and bringing awareness to these topics. You're a very good speaker. I loved your comment about books. Made me think of other people who have been in prison and ended up becoming prolific readers, got degrees, etc. So in an odd turn of events, prison was a good thing for them. The brown recluse part was insane! I work in healthcare and those spider bites are no joke. Skin necrosis... People can end up in ICU if not treated!! Unbelievable! I also really like that prison brings us back to old times where true justice prevailed. Yes, you could have murdered people, but if done for the right reasons, it's excusable. Without real laws and good oversight, karma rules! Who you befriend can save your life, and choices you made can get you killed. So with that being said I can see how you became friends with people who seemingly did awful things, but once you understand the context you realize that these are good people who are victims of circumstance, who have your back if you have theirs. I look forward to reading my first book of yours and many more to come I'm sure
