Never understood how someone can knock someone for their past like that. Even a child knows that a pubishment can lead to a better person; wiser. Past this; as so long as prisoners are treated as slaves in the system, without a political voice for our country even if its just the prisons and how they are ran (justly), then we are denying nearly half the country of their constitutional rights making them victoms more than they are criminals in a system that has been militerized against its own people to make profits.

Everyone knows this, and every country does it; we are built upon the foundations of profusion and servitude. Prison is free slave labor; It doesn't become any more obvious than in America. Show some tyrants some credit, though; at least my government had the decency to be more subtle in their approach, giving you the false hope of freedom that never was nor will be. In my country, definitely, religion conditions you to rely upon your government; schools condition you to accept your government, and prisons are typically reserved for those whose conditioning was ineffective, and subtlety is no longer an option. The land of opportunity- now I understand why it's called that. Governments do not need to try very hard to control you; they can just give out mandates and punish you; now religion- organized religion, regardless of the shape it asserts itself as, must gaslight you in order to get what they want; control over your mind, body, and spirit. If they can convince you that no matter how you try, you'll never truly be clean in God's eyes while also telling you what will happen to you if you're disobedient; indeed, they have control over your life.

If you have your car stolen and you don't have certain types of coverage (like rental, for instance), someone could be left without a vehicle for weeks or months while insurance deals with it. JD definitely makes a heartfelt point about how bad it could be for someone to have their car stolen. Some folks might be lucky, but someone with a single vehicle could be in a world of hurt, for sure.

I myself had mine stolen only had liability and uninsured morterist on it so insurance didn't provide rental or give me much for it because it was an older vehicle and I had to find rides to work and the grocery store and any side errands and some one to drop off and pick up my daughter from school and sitters house while trying to get a another car with bad credit

Speaking of putting cars on boats and sending them directly back to Russia. My coworker's friend worked for some company in Canada. The dude parked the company truck, went to lunch, came back and the car was gone. He walked around a bit looking for it, couldn't find it. He called the company who had GPS tracking on it. It pinged off in the Atlantic Ocean, so it was probably on a boat headed for somewhere.

Yeah when it comes to cars, especially after the deductible, you ain't getting jack for the car. 5K paid for the car? Well expect an offer of 2k after a $500 deductible unless you get an attorney which would cost you a lot of time off work plus attorney fees and wouldn't be worth it. Insurance companies know this so they will always lowball the average person.

Larry, I love you and JD contents ,but i think you're wrong about your view on the car theft. Speaking as some who woke up one morning to find her car stolen. it is headach dealing with the insurance companies. Not to mention the feeling of being violented. That last for weeks afterwords. Insurance companies use Kelly blue book trade in value; not private resale value. if you don't have full insurance a rental is not provided, and most people who have a vehicle payed off will generally have liability and uninsured motorist not full coverage so they don't get anything for the vehicle. If the victim only had one vehicle to begin with like myself now you need to find rides to work the grocery story someone to pick your child up from school and so on. I really appreciate JD taking accountability for his actions with the car theft and the repercussions it had on his victims. I'm sure you where not meaning to make it sound like you where justifying his your actions but that is the way it came across

Men need that oldschool thinking, stop beating yourself up, stop feeling so much. When I watch your videos its like im at a bar or out in the woods camping. The problem is self righteousness. No one is perfect, or even good. People point fingers to justify themselves when they have absolutely no right to. Prisoners have already been brought to the bottom, and people stand on their pedestals and judge. They don’t even realize that they are no better than them, and a lot of times even worse because they lack humility. Not trying to get too religious, but the only perfect man was nailed to a cross as if he was a savage murderer. They pointed their finger at perfection and openly condemned him. He became a worm. It was so undeserved, but that is just the way people are. Thank God he had a plan to save people who actually repent. He was able to work a terrible thing for good. My point is, don’t lose hope because people treat you like shit. Just focus on doing what is right. All things do work toward good.

i had a hard drug addiction off and on from the early '90s until i gave all substances up in '14. i luckily had a good paying job and had the money to feed my addiction until i had lost my job and savings was drying up. that and being responsible for a wife and 2 young kids was my saviour. my running buddies who did not have money often got caught stealing and served some time, usually jail for a short term. i could very well have been busted right after scoring resulting in legal issues and possibly jail but i got lucky. i had one buddy who was so strung out, he robbed a drug store and got arrested. i met him in AA after he finally got clean but before he was about to serve his time. he was the opposite of someone who could hold his own in prison but got 1.5 years. but he made it mostly unscathed. point is his story and other similar AA stories helped keep me clean during the rough early years of sobriety. just knowing folks who had to serve time was enough for me.

As someone who has been to county a bunch 20 years ago and never prison, THANK GOD, I absolutely love your stories, personality, message, and spotlight on the broken system that has more negative consequences on the families than the convict, and how Trump did a lot for prison reform that rarely gets mentioned other places. 12:30 is FANTASTIC advice. Honesty and NOT being a hypocrite go a long way in the line of humanity because it earns respect.

What JD said about the cars is totally on point. Screwing over a working class guy by taking his car is probably worse than assaulting him in my opinion. With the price of even used cars these days a hospital trip would cost me less than buying a new car. I really didnt agree with Larrys take on the car theft. But to each his own. I love Larrys content but i had no idea where he thought was going with that line of thinking.

The best co-worker I ever had was a felon who did 6 years in state and had bipolar. I was the only person who could talk him down and hear him out, he was a good dude. I was sad when he stopped showing up. I was the only one he felt he could open up to, I don’t judge nobody. He’s one of the reasons why I decided to major in psychology.

There’s no respect anymore, no pecking order and spice,drugs and mobile phones run the prison now . Pot was the only drug about back in the day, heroin was unheard of till 98 and it was taboo then

@@JdDelay5150 its the typical white collar crime its just covered more because he was so young and it was semi interesting cuz he managed a massive investment fund like before the age of graduating college. i personally would rather watch either of the other stories but thats just me. I more so meant that his PRISON and criminal justice experience is NOTHING like Larry’s (all the abuse etc) or JD’s (violent super max etc)
@luckyluchiano72

@@JdDelay5150 like his prison experience was extraordinarily easy vs theirs and has alot less weight imho as i heard many people talk about prison camps and how they’re not hard to go thru. Larry even did an interview with a guard who went to one and he had friends n said it was a breeze. Also i saw the camp he went to many times as it was near a family members sporting events. It didn’t even look like a prison/prisoners
