Extend Tee and Ja'Marr. Extend Trey, and then add two free agent guards. If the deals are structured correctly and we get some flexibility from Burrow, there will be enough left to add solid pieces to the defense. Many fans mistakenly divide a player's contract by the number of years to determine the cap hit, but that's not how it works. We have the funds to rebuild this team and keep Tee, Ja'Marr, and Trey.

agree with what you say but for guards i would take a starting quality guard in the second round. Pair that pick a a good free agent guard. Give the first round pick to Golden to use as he sees fit. Round 3 defense, round 4 ( OR 5) a running back for depth (unless the injured guys are coming back healthy). I wish we still had a guy like Samaji Perine still on the squad. use the other for defense and then defense round 6. If we have talented young players that Lou did not play or played sparingly lets get them coached up and on the field, guys like Battle , Myles, Dax Hill and probably a couple others. Those are like extra draft picks All this dependent on what Golden can squeeze out of the players we have.

I know the defense needs major reworking but just out of curiosity, why is no one talking about the offensive line? Burrow gets hit after the throw every play. If he gets hurt, it doesn’t matter how good the defense is. Any thoughts on focusing on the main guys and then 80% on D and at least 20% on improving the O-line?

Sharp tackling teams practice it as well. We just take it easy to avoid injuries. It's why we always start so slow...it's also not proven to reduce injuries either. That is really a Zac Taylor issue

The Bengals had better keep Joesph Ossai or I’m going to be saying I told you so in about week 6 next year. They need to cut Hubbard and give Ossai about 6-8 million of that money and bring Cam Sample back too. Cam Sample can risibly put on 10 pounds and play from the interior exclusively I mean all of Samples carrer sacks came form the interior we are set at Defensiee End Hendrickson is the best at his position. They don’t make many y Athletrs like Joseph Ossai guys. He is 6’4’’ 261 lbs has 34 inch arms, ran a 4.62, has a 42 inch vertical and and 11 foot brownd jump. And he wronged exactly 256 lbs when he completed all these combine drillls. There certainly isn’t another person in this grab with that profiles DEbaccept Myles Murphy who ran a 4.51 at 270 lbs and 6’5’’. The Bengals probably won’t keep Ossai and a team is gonna sign him for between 5-10 mil a year and he will outplay that contract next year. He is goons br a 10 sacks guy He almost got the 7.5 that I predicted this year.

Who do the chiefs pay? Mahomes, Creed at $18M per year, Jawaan taylor at $20M, Chris Jones at $32M per year Joe Thuney at $16 per year and travis at $17M per year Notice that they don't pay any WR more than $7M this year and they traded away their most expensive, quicker, more explosive, probowl and all pro and top 5 WR that wanted $30M+ per year and paid Travis $12M until last year when Travis finally made $17M Burrow, Tee, Ja'Marr, Trey are top talents at very expensive positions. We don't have a Travis Kelce that plays for $17M the last 2 years and $12M for years before that. Ja'marr is demanding more than twice what Travis makes even before JJettas got paid Eagles make about $100M more each year than Bengals and about $60M more than the chiefs

I disagree. The defense would have looked better if the offensive line was better. The Bengals still haven't proven they know how to draft talent at the offensive line. Even after all these years! You mentioned Jim Carrey y'all are goofy just like him. If what you're saying is true then they're just indifferent to ever getting great talent at the offensive line. I may be in the minority, but I would extend Jamar and let Tee walk. Take that money and get some rushers and cover guys, maybe even a guard. I love Tee, & would love to keep him, but spending top dollar on 2 WR’s isn’t great management of the salary cap. You could get 3 really good players for the price of Tee. Also Tee has had trouble staying on the field. Just my take

Right now the only "strength " of this team is the offense and WR. The O line is really weak at guards and Zac hasnt figured out how to implement the running game. He was never a play caller and it shows. Higgins is a big 6'4" receiver who is fast. He is still young. those guys dont grow on trees and we have no one to replace him. You dont get rid of a great core player unless you can replace him. Front office needs to step into the 21st century with contracts. The top teams like the Eagles manage to keep their great core players. Bengals need to do the same. We have young talent that Anarumo let sit on the sidelines preferring older veteran free agents. Let Golden see who he can get on the field and get better. Management screwed the pooch not extending Chase when they had the opportunity to. Now they will pay more...a lot more for him. The defense went south because they did not want to pay Bates. He was a key player and they had no ne to replace him. Same thing will happen to the offense. They lost Tyler Boyd and they could not find a replacement. Who will replace Tee?? Burton.. the Zac Taylor stretch and bust of the year in the NFL?? Plus, you wont get "3 really good players for Tee."
