Pete's career LOW for HRs (excluding the 60 game 2020 season) is 34. That's our team high in the last 3 seasons, and it was Cal this past year. We NEED this man on the roster.

As a fan this is the only season I've decided not to attend. If you sign Alonso I'll change my mind. I feel like there are a ton of fans that feel the same way. Show us you want to win and if all you care about is "making a profit" then you are losing your profits from fans who hate you.

I don't think anyone understands why the Mariners aren't upping payroll at certain times, its not because they don't want to, its because they can't. In order for the Mariners to spend over their budget, it has to be approved by a majority of ownership. Yes these people are billionaires but that's mostly on paper. People like Chris Larsen need cash and they need it badly, they can't afford to take any profits away from the team at any time. This isn't speculation, they waited until August of 2024 to even pay the Astros 4 million in the previous Kelenic trade, they literally can't afford it.
