Truth is, the Packers have been consistently overmatched against the Eagles, Vikings, and Lions. The final scores are not indicative of the game play. The Packers can’t make the plays when they matter - be it early or late. The lack of pass rush kills the defense against the best offenses, and our offense lacks a deep threat too often (Watson can’t stay healthy) and makes too many unforced errors.

@taipan8021 EPA per play is a great stat as a baseline metric, but like all stats it can be misleading if you isolate it without context. Vikings are 2-0 against the Packers where they were clearly the better team for a majority of both games, but the ending stats will make it look much different because the game flow allowed for these late comeback attempts to help stuff the stat box

But the dynamics of a young and very talented team still requires mature, "been there" leadership and that's why down the stretch last year they performed better. When Aaron returned, they had that juice that he brought to the table. There are no tested leaders on offence now. And so we're just going to have to go through the process of these guys growing into their own seasoned leadership.

Let me give u a clue for your slow start, careful about your arrogance... Vikes "STUFFED RUN GAME!", BLANKETED PASS GAME!" at that point your offense ends up WATCHING the SUPERIOR TEAM while u are on sidelined. #8 less than 80yards, #10 less than 175 yards passing/int... And send out the milk carton to find Reed.... did he play today?... I could do this all day, but 2 more points and I leave u to grieve as I think u blew your wad... Last week, on a bunch of nobodies. 1-stop with the injury whining, that's part of the game all teams deal with it...and if u seek pity for you "3" injuries...sorry, all I got is for Detroit(16 injured)...and they DONT WHINE! Watson drops as many as he catches , net "0" ps Alexander is NOT savior kind of good anyway...his absence was to save face...he can't stop #18...he will probably NEVER go head to head with #18 again. 2-stop with refs...sometimes u get them, sometimes you don't! For think #22 hit low and deserved personal foul...Brady's group didn't! Then the "offsides" they called on vikes must have been atrocious... They would not even show the above view or down the line... Because it didn't happen.... Then, how do u get a timeout with 0:00 on the clock... Get the fuck out of here! Ultimately, packers can't compete with TOP TEAMS(Vikes, Lions, Eagles) and u got your rematch, last time #10 was hurt, this time some LB or CB... just STFU, Forfeit you playoff spot to a "WORTHY CONTENDER!"

Lets be honest. Lafleur's play calling was the deciding factor in the game. That and the Defense not being able to get the ball back at the end. If we get the ball for a final drive we win. No doubt, Minnesota couldn't stop our passing game in the 4th. We were totally out coached and the blown call on the Vikings missed field goal at halftime didn't help matters. NFL Refs are horrendous. There was also a Drop by #18 on the last drive that wasn't reviewed. We all watched slowed down, another blatant game changing call. I really I am having a hard time watching the NFL when games are close and the Ref's make continuous mistakes that affect the outcome. Then we have to listen to idiot pundits tell us how bad the Packers played in a 2 point loss. How about talking about the elephant in the room???? The NFL is pathetic and no one is allowed to address it. So I will. Nothing against the Vikings, not their fault. It was a great game and could have been greater if the Officials were as professional as the players. Wake up NFL, you are ruining the greatest game on earth with part-time hack officials.

Part of me wanted to look at the Green Bay Packers front 7 and take aim at blaming the pass rush. However, going up against one of the better offensive lines in the league and still forcing Sam Darnold into some bad decisions and mistakes, I couldn’t quite get there with Rashan Gary or anyone up front in the trenches. Eric Wilson in the middle of the defense, on the other hand, definitely deserves his share of the blame. Eric Wilson, who continued to be one of the leaders of the middle of the defense with Quay Walker sidelined, really failed to check any boxes for the Green Bay Packers in this matchup. He was a downright disaster in coverage, getting burned for 5 catches that went for 97 yards in this game, including 51 yards after the catch, which shows just how far behind he was when he was in coverage. He wasn’t much better when he was asked to come up and make a play in the running game, including a brutal missed tackle and registering just 1 run stop on the day. Eric Wilson is a good player but this was not a good day at the office. He may come out fired up and better for it but his poor effort cost Green Bay this game. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

I noticed Darnold threw some high balls and his receivers caught them!! We need that same mentality instilled into our WR's heads.Catch the dang ball no matter what! I too do not understand why the game plan isn't as good this year. Maybe problem is that we all saw how JL & his WR's lit it up last season & this season I think MLF decided to protect JL from throwing more Int's but he needs to let JL loose again!!!!

Booo. Nope. That's just a peanut gallery comment without detail. I 100% disagree with you there. Has it been everything we needed? No, not in the first season. What is the real problem? What would really improve to prevent you from making that comment? Do you know what it is? It's the QB play on offensive side of the ball. The defense has done a fantastic job catching up has made significant progress. I see progress. Where I don't see progress is in the QB play. I see LaFeleur struggling. We're not being led efficiently enough not in critical moments by our QB. It has nothing to do with our defense though. Games we've lost this year came down to a failure to rise above the better teams. That can be looked upon by both the defense and the offense however it is more clear to me than ever in this game against the Vikings though there have been game after game after game leading up to this where I just saw love not competent enough. With disguises that is a very competent in elite level coaching that has masked the inequalities or the inconsistencies of Love and how that has not helped us win games. Can we do better in the defense? Sure, I see that as well. But, the biggest argument to be made on this team this year is not the defense. It's the struggle between what LeFleur is able to do and what love is actually able to produce. You wouldn't even be making these arguments if Love was a better player and more effective across more diverse scenarios. You'd all be happy hunky-dory because you don't see that as a whole game perspective. You just want to make some ignorant claim about Barry. 😂😂😂😂

Vikings with 25 first downs while Packers have ONLY 9!!! Darnold should be getting paid what Love is getting paid and vice versa. Can we now stop the hyper praise for Love as an elite QB?! We know the internal struggles of the Packers. What it is, is the lack of elite quarterback play and a struggling by a completely talented, Hall of Fame whatever you want to call it, level coach in Lafleur who's maximizing his players but who can't get a quarterback to be as consisten, as dynamic and versatile as he needs him to be. Not right now. Maybe next year, maybe in 3 years, maybe in 5 years maybe never, I really don't know, that one is hard to say. I tend to think that there could have been a lot of talented QB's coached up by Lafleur and could possibly show us more progression than Love. But are we a long-term playoff team this year, hell no. Can we progress into that with Love? Over the next year, or two? Maybe. I kind of doubt it to be honest. He may develop into that player I just don't know. What is clear though is that he is very far from that level right now. And what's even more clear, is that he didn't progress from last year into this year. He actually regressed Think about that, Love regressed. I think that is the most shocking and damaging aspect of his talent, of his football perspective. I think at this point in time, though based off of all of last year and all this year his first two full seasons, I'm not sure he's ever going to be on that level. He requires too much restrictions on the coaching end. And that drives LeFleur mad. MAD! Quote me. That is the single largest limitation to our team this year. We can over analyze and break it all down, but a lot of that just simply doesn't matter because, a lot of it is working so well even with certain flaws. Defense has definitely progressed up and I just don't have the ability to think about analyze defense like a lot of people do. I just don't get it. But I get what I see and I see what I see and Love is no future QB at this point. I would hate to see this linger on for two three more years and then just taper out into nothing. That's kind of what I see happening though. Okay okay okay, does anybody actually know that, that Love will fail? No, of course not, I don't pretend to know either. I just wanted to highlight how far we actually are away from having that QB who can take us there. Last year was sort of an anomaly, unfortunately. Because we are not seeing consistent growth and talent developing in Jordan Love this year. Let's hope he pulls it out, but at this point, I fear the worst, just a gut feeling. Let's go Pack.

What you’re describing is called a “coach killer”. Is that love? Perhaps, but I’m going to give him two more years. As you alluded to I also expect a lot of growth out of Love next year. Good post sir. 26:00
