What do you think the score of the Saints and Raiders game will be?
@johnmule94192 күн бұрын
Raiders 20 Saints 8..with the players we'll put out there I don't see us doing much scoring (except a meaningless TD at the end of the game). The only chance the Saints have is to generate turnovers (a possibility with the Raiders). Otherwise, it is bleak. Rattler has not engineered a scoring drive of more than 60 yards in the games he's played in this year.

I like Aaron Glenn but I feel like this franchise as a whole has to cut off the Payton era completely. No surprise Loomis wants someone he is familiar with, it’s pretty obvious the game has passed him by. Hasn’t drafted well in a while, destroyed the team’s salary cap, resigned old vets, let rookie upcomers walk. I think us as fans know no real changes will come until Loomis is gone. And Gayle needs to start being held accountable. Look at what the Pelicans have become this season. If no front office changes occur, do we expect just a new head coach to change the way this franchise is ran?

@thechosen33322 күн бұрын
...say wha? First off, are you suggesting we draft a gadget player? Because you sure as shit are not drafting an Army QB to play QB. This team has holes EVERYWHERE. That would be a luxury pick..at best. Second, it's an Army player. You do know that they have contractual obligations to, ya know, the Army. So unless he requests and is granted permission to get out of his contract, which is unlikely, he ain't playing in the NFL anytime soon.

Joe Brady if we go familiarity, Glenn is such a retread hire it’s not even funny, I’m certain he’s a better leader then DA, but I’m good to go back to that same tree who was under DA, heck Frank smith in Miami if we are desperate to go familiarity, was our assistant line coach for 5 seasons and has certainly done his apprenticeship under McDaniel, gruden, Payton, staley (lol) he got 2 interviews last season and was Carolinas 3rd option

@ yeh, yet some people act as if we even have a chance at him, at this rate I doubt he’d even interview with us outside of the fact maybe dan and Glenn have said good things to him about Mickey or something, but yeh wouldn’t mind vrabel either just that offensive coordinator hire is crucial, lafleur was good and smith was good but when he had to go to downing it was terrible really, Tim Kelly last season wasn’t to bad tbh, he actually made Levis look more competent then he does now under the guy who was meant to truly unlock him in Callahan. Titans should of kept vrabel and giving kelly another season with him, I still remember how good that titans performance was against Miami last season, they were great. But I’m not sure about keeping kubiak that’s why I speak on kelly still young to, kubiak has definitely fallen off a cliff in his play calling, it’s slowly got more and more bland and vanilla, and just some stupid calls at times. He’s part of the problem imo, I still think Spence has got something there if we didn’t have bums running routes 💀 mv gets a pass but Kevin Austin, ced, pettis are horrid, haven’t really seen much of Tipton either if any. If we had shaheed olave together with Spence and another receiver we’d be much better, kubiak is playing for his job though and really should determine if we go offense or defensive mind
@johnmule94192 күн бұрын
You can start talking about the draft because Aaron Glenn is the next HC...pretty easy to predict what Mickey will do next...oh sure, he'll interview several "candidates" (just like he did with the DA hire...when everybody knew DA was gonna be the next coach)...and he'll pick Glenn anyway...next years roster will still be filled with the same old guys playing out their careers and retreads discarded by other teams along with a few "potential" good young prospects and our ever longer list of draft busts or near busts...Carr will be QB1...they can't really rebuild because they don't have enough quality young players to build around (because of mediocre to downright bad drafts since 2018 and the cap situation is still horrific). In other words, they are stuck. Probably for at least 2-3 years.

I hope Rizzi can impress enough over the last few games to win the coaching gig. Here's the thing.... We keep talking about anti-familiarity being the order of the day. However familiarity isn't the issue. The issue is familiarity being selected over a better available option. Dennis Allen had already shown that despite familiarity with Payton that he wasn't a good head coach but was selected due to that familiarity. Glenn being selected had he not coached here would be celebrated due to the Lions success, where as Allen had none apart from Payton.

...how many chances do you give someone to be successful? This is the difference between winning franchises and losing franchise. Are you ok with mediocrity? Winning franchises are not..losing franchises are. Loomis has been the GM since 2002. Thats 22 years. The Saints have been to the playoffs 9 times in 22 years with one SB. And he has eaten off that SB, almost 14 years!!!!!, since. The Saints have the worst cap situation in the league, by far! There is a good argument to be made that they are the least desirable option for head coaching prospects. Tell me what you are excited for as far as this current team's future. All of that is 1000% on Loomis and he should have been gone years ago. The only reason he isn't is because the Benson's care more for "loyalty" than winning.
