Hello Aviation Buffs like myself in Australia. John Woodall here. Have a look at the stunning lines of the Lockheed L1011 Tristar and McDonald Douglas DC10 and MD11. Perfection from Companies that you expect it from. Yes it's a pity that Twin Engined Aircraft have now proved to be the popular choice so why then the return of the Four Engined A380 Post Pandemic, Easy, Capacity. Surely with the Technology we have now including Power Plants would one not see a place for a New Version of these two types. It might just fill a Void yet to make itself more obviously known to us, who knows. But these Beautiful Aircraft like that of the 747 ruled the skies and who says it may come a time and place when they will again. Respectfully

Too bad L-1011's commercial prospects were destroyed by the quick-and-dirty (and deadly) DC-10 (and even worse MD-11).

Fun fact: The L1011 had the highest top speed (mach number) of any jetliner.
