Lockheed SR-71 Lecture (March 2020) at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force

'Secrets Revealed' event March 7-8, 2020 at National Museum USAF. This lecture is with former pilots and maintenace personnel who were involved in the SR-71 program in the U.S. Air Force.
According to National Museum of the U.S. Air Force Historian Dr. Doug Lantry, the SR-71 and U-2 were both highly classified aircraft that provided critical intelligence during the height of the Cold War for our nation’s defense, and the U-2 is still in service. Gambit and Hexagon satellites played similar reconnaissance roles in space, using highly sophisticated cameras to capture images of areas aircraft could not overfly.

Sometimes the algorithm actually works otherwise I would have missed this marvelous presentation. Sincere thanks to the NMUSAF for having this evening and sharing it with us. I visited over twenty years ago and remember dragging my jaw across many floors as I saw legendary aircraft "in the flesh."
