A New Era of Belgian Airpower. On Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023, Lockheed Martin presented Belgium's first F-35A Lightning II to the Belgian government during a rollout ceremony at the F-35 production facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This event marks a significant milestone in the Belgian Air Force's history and strengthens the alliance between the United States and Belgium, a key NATO ally.

Prices for the F-35A program are going crazy. The most recent price is a contract for 20 Korean F-35A Block 4s for $5.06 billion in December 2023. South Korea already operates 40 F-35As. We are also establishing and supporting a perfect logistics support system. Introducing an additional 20 costs a huge amount of money. Last year, an F-35A collided with an Eagle and landed on its fuselage, and repair costs exceeded $100 million. The F-35A is becoming more expensive over time with software upgrades and improvements.

Poland should buy the F-35 only when all problems are resolved.

I'm sorry, what I meant to say was Poland should buy the F-35 when they're capable of maintaining it and their pilots are qualified to fly it. Or maybe Poland should buy it on the 32nd of December. How about Poland gets to watch the 20+ other countries who have bought it enjoy flying it around while they can pretend to have parts for Mig-29's that haven't existed for 20 years, meanwhile in 30 & 40 years of production, no F-16's, F-15 or F-22's or current serving F-35's have waited for any parts, and even our 40 year old airframes have the most up to date avionics and weapons systems on planet earth installed, while their Russian masters can't even get a chicken-shit non-stealth Su-57 off the ground without crashing on take off, last generation engines catching fire, or missiles during practice firings that just fall off the wing and spear into the ground like a dart....buy planes from those losers....they'll give you a good deal, cause no one else will buy their horseshit. They suck so bad China won't even copy them anymore. Their copied Su-35's engines are so weak it'll barely take off from a carrier with ordinance on board...buy that Poland.
