Locomotive Engineer Mike Barnett:. At the 4:20 mark on this video it looks like a rail line used to merge into the track that you are on about where that signal is. Would I be right? On google maps it looks like the track may have gone under that highway. If anybody knows I would be delighted to hear if it is.

When you push the locomotive brake to the right for a few seconds what exactly does that do? It sounds like it releases air or something

Pushing the handle to the right releases air from the locomotive brake cylinders during an application of the automatic brake (train brake).
