A great video review but I think one key aspect missed is how they feel compared to a moulded boot such as the PS Hardcore Evo or FR SL 80. But no worries, I'll save it for a proper conversation when I manage to come down for a visit as I need new boots.

Love the format of the vid as I wait in agony for these to release in US. The size chart displayed shows neo2 and think the neo1 has a slightly different chart and shell sizing. It has been tough to get the actual official neo 1 size chart but it does exist. FR was kind enough to send when I asked.

Looks like they adjusted the mondo sizes to be a bit different on the Neo 1 chart. Makes sense, I suppose the Intuition liner would give you slightly more room in it's respective shell size because it's lower volume. Shell sizes are the same on both though obvs.

My feet size is 41 (EU) tried 40. Hesitating but in the end I choose to downside to 40, which was a very good decision. I feel so great in them when the Intuition liner adapted to my feet. 2:11 also the buckle is not plastic but metal, i already scratch it and it is silver below :)

Great video. I bought all my skates from Loco, except a second hand pair of linerless Seba High that I put Intuitions in (Intuitions bought from Loco 😁) and a Wizard setup I bought years ago from Shoptask. I have several pairs of Seba FR1's with different frame setups, and a "deluxe Intuition" FR1. I do feel I prefer the older Seba FR1 boots to the FR ? But I can't put my finger on why. They feel more substantial somehow, more solid, different plastics used? Idk. Anyway, I like the matte look of this Neo One, the dual density, especially in the top of the cuff, and the low ride height, but I'm not sure that's enough to warrant yet another pair of new skates 😁 Great review tho, covers everything well. Love you guys.

I'm curious how long the softer parts of the boot will last. After many sweaty skates, I'd just hope it doesn't start to degrade and fall apart. Compared to the full hard shell that is still great for me after 2 years with a LOT of skating.

The Neo 2 liner strap ripped off the first time i tried using it to pull my heel in. Seems like theyre barely sewn on. Unlike on my RB110, which i can really pull on and thats never happened. How are the intuition liners? Do they rip off like the neo2 liner?

@Locoskates: How would you compare the Neo 1 Intuition with the FR1 Intuition in terms of responsiveness, lets say for slalom skating? You already showed us the Neo shell is wider then the FR1 shell, does this mean the Neo is more focused on comfort and less on responsiveness? As a slalom skater I'm very interested in this.

yes, they work just fine

They do, but the stock frame is optimised to fit perfectly with the shape of underside of the boot so you get way more height-saving advantages with the stock-frame.

Pretty certain these frames are not going to fit on any other skates. The mounting block will be in the way.

compare the ride height against aeons though. Nothing fancy just put them on their wheels next to each other and visuallze. I did this with my aeons against a seba high and the difference was stunning. I wonder how this looks. Great video, as usual.

I like how streamlined the mounting plate is, wish they did this for the SL carbon models. Its possible this design was a response to the trinity mount's lower ride height with some trinity frames like the endless trinity 90 lr.

The ride height difference doesn't look as large at the heel... Can you measure that too? If true then theyve actually changed the stance you adopt, almost as you would in a hi-lo / hockey setup. Might explain the 'turniness' of the skate.
