Thanks Tyler, great to hear that you find the content useful. Is there anything specific you would like to see more of on my channel?
@bottledspace8 жыл бұрын
You already have a great basis of content with the Greensock + Scroll Magic tutorials as well as useful timesavers like this Website Deconstruction series. I came here because of the GSAP series, which led me to discover Scroll Magic and see how both are used in production with your Website Deconstruction series. The utility of a channel like yours is that each piece of content revolves around this theme of learn - deconstruct - discover, and you deliver on each aspect. If you were to introduce a new learning topic, say, Pixi.js, React Canvas, THREE, or something I don't know exists, I would only hope that you followed it up with some more deconstruction videos so we could continue to poke around even more. Another aspect you could touch on (if relevant) is move one step backwards from GSAP to Sketch and Principle for designing these animations and show how to translate them into code. That, however, may risk moving the channel too far out of its front-end focus and dilute the interplay between the content you already have. Either way, keep up that great work and stay away from those pesky tomatoes.

proposal for next deconstruction: cobay.es/en/ Do you have in plans to create course about SnapSVG or a course that combine scrollmagic and greenschock? Maybe three.js?
@Ihatetomatoes8 жыл бұрын
Nice suggestion Michal! I didn't plan on creating SnapSVG content, but you never know. I already have ScrollMagic 101 and ScrollMagic Workshop that both combine GSAP and ScrollMagic. Check it out: Free - ihatetomatoes.net/get-scrollmagic-101/ Premium - ihatetomatoes.net/get-scrollmagic-workshop/

dude, do you think I need to learn GSAP in 2018?
@Ihatetomatoes6 жыл бұрын
If you want to learn how to make some award winning effects and animation GSAP is still the tool to do it in 2018.

@@Ihatetomatoes I just found GSAP and it seemed to me a bit obsolete - because of their website design I think)) thanks for reply - will give it a try. I usually did css/svg animations but now its time to move forward, I looked on a canvas a bit but seems that svg is more flexible and easy to interact with, where canvas is good only for random animations, not for animating specific shapes. I also looked on snapsvg which can generate svgs on the fly and so on. really happy to find your channel - thats what I searched for a weeks - big thanks to youtube algorithms for today) I like tomatoes very much though)) cheers
