It shouldn’t be that difficult. You give Mixon half of each of the other twos stack. Then divide what’s already in the middle in half and one half goes to Mixon. Then divide the other half into 1/3rds and call in a day. The LOL part is counting up the blues. Shows why pulling a stunt like that just ends up slowing the game.

@@James-cs9sy he is actually correct. I thought he was incorrect because of 3 players chopping, but it still works out to be a standard 3 quartering, where he wins half of both players stacks. Imagine everyone had 2k, 6k into the middle, he wins 3k for the flush and 1k for chop, leaving him with 4k. With the shortcut, he wins 1k from each other player, leaving him with 4k.

I *think* this is right distribution of the 2 pots (M=main, S=Side). The "run it multiple times" thing really complicates things. Those dealers need to be sharp! Flush: 1st Run: 1/6M + 1/4S 2nd Run: 1/2M + 1/2S Total: 2/3M + 3/4S ShortStack: 1st Run (and total): 1/6M Other: 1st Run (and total): 1/6M + 1/4S

Slicer in the straddle called $25 (total $50), later folded Carter in the big blind called $40 (total $50), but later folded Total of $100 in dead money Mixson (+1) started the hand with $5700 Bob in the highjack started the hand with $1700 Llama on the button started the hand with $2445 These three players went all in preflop. Therefore, - The main pot contains $100 + 3 x $1700 = $5200 = M - The side pot contains 2 x $745 = $1490 = S, between Mixon with AT and Llama with AQ. The first board was double-paired, and therefore the main pot was chopped 3 ways, and the side pot chopped 2 ways. M/6 M/6 + S/4 M/6 + S/4 Meanwhile onthe secondboard, Mixon wins the main AND side, and so he gets M/2 + S/2. Net result: - Mixon gets 2M/3 + 3S/4 - Llama gets M/6 + S/4 - Bob gets M/6

Split the pot in half. Half goes to AT. The remaining half is split into thirds. Not really that difficult.
@jirizoufaly1347
@jirizoufaly1347 Жыл бұрын
@@fishinninja8273 That would work if they all have same stacks. Sadly, one AQ has $1,750, the other AQ has $2,445 and the AT has them both covered... So the pots are $5,250 main pot, $1,390 sidepot. Half of main pot gets chopped three ways on first runout, so all players get 1/3 of $2,625 ($875), half of sidepot ($695) gets chopped two ways between bigger stacks at $347 and $348. Second runout, AT wins all - half of both pots, which equals to $2,625 and $695 for a total of $3,320. Dealer also needs to verify all stack sizes and keep them in mind for dividing up the pots. Thankfully the largest stack had the blues, else it would have been even bigger mayhem. Your calculation would have given the small stack additional roughly $230 that he didn't win and thus ripping off both the bigger stacks by around $115. Still think it's easy? Edit: Forgot about the $100 in dead money from other players, so calculation is a little off, but point stands.

Main is 6,825-1,390=5,435 Side pot: A-10 wins: 350 (1st run) + 700 (2nd run) = 1,050 AQ (bigger stack) wins: 350 (1st run) Main pot: A-10 wins: 905 (1st run) + 2715 (2nd run) = 3,620 AQ (bigger stack) wins: 905 (1st run) AQ (short stack) wins: 905 (1st run) ALL ROUNDED TO NEAREST $5

Not a hard divide at all, HALF THE POT, divide it three ways..............................Push what is left to the chump with the A 10.

this is actually not as complicated as it seems, the commentators just hyping it up. pretty standard actually for anyone with plo/bomb pot experience. 3way chop straight on one board with someone else taking the other board and sidepots are involved. happens more often than you'd think
