COSMO'S FACTORY/FOGERTY'S FACTORY
While self-quarantining together the Fogerty Family recreated the cover of Cosmo’s Factory transforming it to Fogerty’s Factory. The family have also taken to their home studio during this isolation to create some music together, The Family Band.
“Bringing a little light from our home to yours. We are having a little family fun together during the pandemic. It's such a great feeling to be making and playin' music surrounded by love. We all need to celebrate the life we have and remember how precious it is. I love music, I am listening every day. Makes everything feel better for me. Put the records on, pull out the old guitar, turn the radio up.. and dance to the music!” - John Fogerty

While the Quarantine continues the Fogerty Family - Shane and Tyler (Hearty Har) and Kelsy - will be joining their Dad for some musical fun covering songs from the classic Fogerty collection. You can see the foursome together on "Down on the Corner" with more to be released over the coming weeks.
Another Fogerty, Bob Fogerty who took the original album cover, came in to shoot the re-make. Released in 1970 Cosmo's Factory turns 50 in July and Fogerty's 50 Year Trip continues!
Stay tuned to the John Fogerty KZbin channel for more Fogerty Factory music!

I've seen Mr. Fogerty in concert three times, '86, '97, '98. In '86 he was not singing CCR songs, but he did play "Centerfield" using his baseball bat guitar, someone from the audience threw a Red Sox hat on stage and he put it on(I live just south of Boston, the year the Sox lost to the Mets). In '97 we saw him again, and I was so excited cause he was singing CCR. After one of his very rare love songs, it was a little quiet, and I am told ( I was quite drunk) that I screamed out...Fortunate fucking Sonnnnn....and I guess he looked at his band, as if to say, what the hell, and they played it. Which they would have anyway ,I think. Anyway, it was a Sunday night concert and I had taken the next day off. I wore my contact lenses to the concert and went to sleep with them still in. Monday morning my phone rang, I fumbled to find the phone cause the lenses were dried onto my eyeballs and when I tried to say hello, I had no voice, lost it screaming the night before. The next year I was completely sober, maybe a joint, and it was a great concert. Sorry for the long post!

The wheel goes round. I was a teenager back in the '60s when John Fogerty and Creedence happened, and I bought every single record. Never saw them play live unfortunately. But now all these years later----- in the middle of this coronavirus crisis---- I'm watching John Fogerty playing with his kids. Doesn't get any better than this!

I have been watching all the videos on John Fogerty's KZbin channel. It is heartening to see Mr. Fogerty singing his own musical compositions with his talented sons during this time of social distancing. In my opinion, Lodi is the Mr. Fogerty's masterpiece. Efficient guitar riff, superb lyrics with a complaining chorus, everything perfect! Furthermore, the subject addressed describes at the same time realistically and poetically the history of so many aspiring musicians, like as "Nos bailes da vida", song by Brazilian singer Milton Nascimento. Thank you, Mr. John Fogerty, for all your awesome and unforgettable songs, especially when sung with your iconic voice.

John, I thank you for your music. I can speak for thousands of fans around the world, who, like me, when they listen to their songs, feel an extra strength to keep fighting with life. God bless you and your whole family. I wish one day I could have the opportunity to meet you in person and play a little guitar with you. It would be a wonderful dream come true. I'm 43 years old, I'm from the city of Ourinhos, state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Lodi was one of my father's favorite songs, and he generally didn't like the music of that time. He was from an older generation. But he would sing this song.

@@elmiguel6725 My father did not go back quite that far. His time was the early 1950s. He liked Country music, like Hank Williams. He was not a fan of rock n roll or the 60s counter culture, but he liked CCR, especially this song.
