Another beautiful video! Try freezing your roast before you put it in the crockpot. And obviously takes an extra hour, maybe two. But I promise you’ll see a difference in the tenderness and juiciness of your roast! Also, you might wanna double check with your slow cooker, but everyone that I have had says, specifically not to lock the lid on, while it is hot!

With the fresh milled flour, what I do is use a sieve to sift out the bran, microwave it with water to soften it, then add it back into the dough. This keeps the bran from cutting into the gluten network (which interferes with the rise) and keeps the bran from absorbing liquid from the dough/bread later on and drying it out. It’s an extra step but I think the nutritional benefits are worth it ❤ Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family!

If you don’t use the microwave, the more traditional way to do this is to boil water and pour that over the bran and allow it to soak that way before adding it back to the dough.

Give me allllllllthe dinner idea content 😂🙌 after having my second baby a few months back, I decided my one main goal for the day was just to make dinner (cleaning and such is nice but when you’re still figuring out how to handle a new baby, it’s a lot cheaper to make dinner and not clean your shower than vice versa). So bring alllllll the cooking and baking content, please!

I have mentioned before how soothing your videos are, especially the cooking ones. I am wondering if the three big kids like most of what you prepare? I notice that they seem to get pretty full portions. Merry Christmas! May the peace of the Lord be with you and your family.

Hi Delilah! I wanted to share a little tip with Butter Chicken / Chicken Tikki Masala. I make this about once a week and have gotten it down to less then 30 mins to make. My biggest hack is to prep ginger in bulk. I typically buy a couple sections of it, peel and and then mince and freeze on a sheet tray or in an ice cube tray. This way whenever I need to cook with it, it thaws in minutes and is ready to go. I also pre-prep rice and freeze it, which actually turns it into a resistant starch and is beneficial for gut health. I just reheat it by adding a few tablespoons of water to a pot and add the rice on low heat. And for the chicken, in the summer I grill it , but in the winter I cook it in the air fryer in batches and then throw it in the sauce. This helps it not stick to the pot and saves a lot of time for me. This dish is one of my favorites and using these hacks gets it on the table super quick. I hope it may be helpful! And Merry Christmas to you and your family! ♥️

I love these recipes; the way you cook (and premake) your meals is so similar to what we do. Do you have recipe for the Mexican Corn salad or the Autumn Harvest salad?

Is your pronunciation of cilantro a Canadian thing? Because I grew up in a family that pronounced it the same way and I live in Washignton state. And I've always wondered if my family is crazy or if it is just the French Canadian heritage or living so close to the Canadian border.
