It's interesting to see how the medium of music has changed over time. Back in the 70's or 80's, people would fall in love with a certain band or album. In the 90's and 00's, as electronic music would become more popular, DJ's and their music gained the same type of dedicated followers and love. And now we've found ourselves in a time where a KZbin mix can stir the hearts of thousands, if not millions. I truly see these Katarakt mixes as "albums", compilations of extremely well picked music, composed together in a smooth, relaxing, vibing mix. That, in my opinion, is the work of an artist. It's music that I keep coming back to, just like people did to their vinyl's and cd's in the past. Curious to find out where the future of music will lead us.
