At that price, I agree and would be nice to have tpu bumpers/skids/motor protection pieces and antenna mounts etc

U dont look at a pair of ray bans and say “the plastic they used is not worth $200”. U buy things because the design itself is what makes something unique and valuable . A team of people took their experience and skills and applied it to engineer this frame and that’s what you are paying for. There are tons a cheap untested frames u can buy if you want to go that route 🤷‍♂️.

@@Robocopter_fpv I did a search on this frame. Seems it was designed by a single pilot called "nodeva" in 2016 and sold on CraftQUADS. But they have since closed down. I also found a build on Rotorbuilds from 2018. To be honest I ca't believe KissUltrta is selling it in 2024 for 70 Euro.

Ian can clarify something for me with this kit. At 1 minute 57seconds where you show the parts it seems that there are 2 screws securing the arms and one of those screws is actually for the 30x30 FC mount. Is thhis correct? I mean do you need to remove the FC stack to swap out an arm?

The anti vibration mount sits on top of the arm screw, however, you do not need to remove the stack to remove the screw. when you re-insert the screw, it goes back into the bottom of the anti vibration mount. no need to remove the top nut holding on the FC.

What's the blue antenna on the back please? Which FPV Goggles and controller are you using? Also will a controller and googles work with just about any FPV build? Or will only certain ones work with FPV types/builds?

Rubber anti-vibration mounts, haven't seen those in use recently! Quite old school!

On the topic of loctite, purple loctite has worked fine for me and is easiest to remove. And how much does this build weigh?

one thing we do need is UK resellers to support kiss ultra and voltara items by stocking them. currently they cannot ship direct to the UK (you have to use an EU reseller or other methods)

70 Euro for a frame where you have to remove the FC to change out an arm - and it's 2024! for god sake. Not for my money. Good custom frame designers stopped doing this 5 years ago when they stopped using those rubber anti vibration mounts.

If you are having to replace arms, that says more about the "good custom frame" that your talking about. Good design with high quality carbon and you are not replacing arms :)

@@paulrobinson270 Okay I can see what you are saying here and I agree - they shouldnt break easily. I have a SyncmodeV2 and haven't broken an arm yet. But still, it's not hard to design a frame with removable arms and it's pretty much standard these days.

@@W113bm My thoughts exactly. Once upon a time removeable arms was the gold standard for a frame. These days it's just expected that the arms can be swapped out.

@@MicronWings I've have this frame. Never needed to replace an arm so I didn't actually know. But went and had a look at it and took out the 2 arm screws and arm popped right off. So not sure what is meant by this now. I might have skipped over a part in the video if it's mentioned
