Love the Log Cabin Pancake house. The video almost brought me to tears. I’ve been going for over 30 years- never missed a trip here during our vacations. The biscuits and gravy and Belgium waffles are my absolute favorite. The lunch bar is always good too. I will say the ham looks very different than I’ve ever gotten and that is not the normal hash browns either... so that’s strange! I had rather eat here than anywhere else in the smokies! ❤️

My husband and I went to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge in the 1980's for our anniversary and had a wonderful time and went back 3 more times. We rode the trolley cars and went to a couple of the shows. Your videos showed us how much Gatlinburg has changed since we were there last. We enjoy your videos of the area. It's like being there ourselves. Thanks for sharing!!

I agree Will, Sevier County is sadly beginning to change and not for the better. One or two moonshine places is fine but there are about 20 of them and I’m sick of seeing so many.

The Log Cabin is one of our favorite breakfast spots in Gatlinburg. Reviews are subjective to the individual and not always reliable as in this case. I think the patrons in the restaurant are testimony to the very loyal following the Log Cabin has. I agree that every offering on their menu may not be the absolute best, but they have and do consistently serve some of the best Grits, eggs, bacon and pancakes in the Smoky mountains.

I was over from the UK last fall and stayed in Gatlinburg for several days. The Log Cabin Pancake House was our go to place for breakfast/brunch. The hash browns I had there were the real deal and nothing like Will got. The all you can eat buffet was amazing value for money and the food was excellent. The servers there were so friendly and helpful and made the time to hold a conversation with us, maybe because we were Brits and a curiosity. I think that the current situation re covid-19 isn't really helping any businesses perform to normal standards. Go back there when hopefully the world is more "normal".

Log cabin is always a go to place each time I go to Gatlinburg. Great service.. Food isn't over priced.. food is always delicious. Have been going there for many years. Smiling faces and happy to serve you. I've never had a bad meal there . I highly recommend them .

We were down over the weekend, checked out Tuesday. We didn’t do much. It was so busy. Stayed at Music Road Hotel (we’ve stayed there or music road inn for years). Ate at Harpoon Harry’s, Fannie Farkles, oh! We went to Apple Valley and ate at the little restaurant there. We seen the Pirate show. Not much more. But like I said, it was so busy, we didn’t do a lot of tourist things. It was a nice getaway. We needed it! Like home to us!

Sorry y'all weren't impressed! It's our fave breakfast place...just ate there yesterday and it was delicious like always. Only place that gets my bacon perfect. I actually really like those hash browns but to each their own! Love your videos.

Another awesome honest review thank you. This can be a problem in Gatlinburg. The places have cool decor and a neat atmosphere, but the food is severely lacking. Based on the video I don't think those 2 breakfast dishes looked very appetizing. I'm a pancake guru and can tell they looked average. Great job Will and Dawn!

Love Log Cabin, but if you guys haven't eaten at Little House of Pancakes yet, they are great! The plain buttermilk pancakes are the best we've had in town. And that's high praise!

Our family ate there one time only; the first and the last. My mother's salad had a bug crawling in it. We brought this matter to the attention of the waitress, but she acted like she didn't care and they didn't replace the salad.

I’ve watched the video, and it was great as usual. The Log Cabin was good. The food looked good. Dawn’s omelet was real good. Will’s pecan pancakes was great, too. The hash browns and ham were alright. I guess the only thing I would say is that they are a wee bit pricey. I mean $5.00 for the ham? Hmmmm. Then it was off to Gatlinburg’s main drag to see about the Ripley’s haunted place and Guinness World of Records. I guess I would think like you in the fact that maybe Guinness will move to another place. I really can’t see it closing forever. Then it was off to the aquarium. That was neat. A lot of people, but still the aquarium was great. Well, another great video. Will and Dawn, you are the best!!! 😊😊😊

My husband and I love the Log Cabin, when we go there in the fall we eat breakfast there just about every day. maybe things were a little high due to covid shutting them down for a while and maybe they lost inventory so they have to make up for it by charging a little more for certain things.

Get the traditional breakfast here sometime. Sausqge, Biscuit gravy, eggs, gravy and grits with orange juice and coffee. That's the best breakfast there! Yum! It's our favorite of all the ones you've been too. 😀

We always loved eating at Log Cabin Restaurant and we love it. We order different items than what y'all ordered. Their biscuits, scrambled eggs, country ham and gravy are the norm for our family.

Up until we moved-Nov 2011- we went there for breakfast at least once each trip to Gatlinburg(3 trips a year). Bananas Foster French toast was my go to. Hope to get back to the area July 2021. On the fence about going here. Don’t want to tarnish my old memories. 😬

There was a pancake place at the foot of Pigeon Forge before you go through the woods to get to Gatlinburg that I used to love eating their pancakes. I don't know if you put the tip on your bill yourself or if they took that out there selves but I'm not eating anywhere where they automatically take the tip out.

Decor reminds me of Cracker Barrel. Food at Cracker Barrel looks better than what you got but that is my opinion It was pricey but probably average for a tourist town

Dawn's omelette was very cleary RAW! And, your hash browns, were just frozen planks that the kitchen simply heated through, and chopped up. Also, your ham steak was just leftover ham slices, from a local grocer!

This restaurant has always been our go to place for breakfast in Gatlinburg. Always loved the atmosphere and the great food. We saw this video and couldn't believe the review you gave and so the next time we were in Gatlinburg, of course we went to the Log Cabin Pancake House. Sadly, you were right! It has changed a lot. The hash browns were uneatable, nothing tasted as it had in the past. So sad! 😒

Log Cabin always been my favorite, and always will be. They've been here forever and I hope they always are. I love the atmosphere, especially in winter with a warm fire to eat by. Their biscuits and gravy are delicious, as well as other good like lunches and dinners. I'm thinking you probably just got a little bit of them having somevthings in short supply because I've never had a bad meal there. Try another meal there sometime. I personally think they're the best.

We've also visited some of the other places......some good (Crocketts)......some bad (Pancake Pantry....yuck!). We'll just stick with Log Cabin!! We’ve eaten at the Log Cabin Pancake House many times over the last 30 or so years. When we went there a couple of weeks ago the food was awful. We were served greasy hash browns and omelets that were as flat as what Dawn ordered. The pancakes used to have the pecans cooked in, but mine were just sprinkled on. The pancakes were nothing special and the same with the syrup. The coffee was a very acidic (sour?) robusta type and not a smooth arabica. Any place that serves breakfast should have great coffee. I complained, but got only a mumbled apology from the waitress. The fire, the flood, the pandemic.....I hope they recover from all of this. I wish them well.

The country ham (salt cured) is much better than the city ham (sugar cured) that you had on your plate. And those hash browns don't look like the ones they usually have. I don't know.....maybe they had to substitute.....? Next time, try their biscuits and gravy......they are out of this world!! We'll take Log Cabin PH over any of the other places in town! Our favorite since they opened their doors back in the 70's!!

Crocketts Breakfast Camp is really good. Near bearskin lodge. Try it out u all. Stuffed French toast really good
