Really cool, beam within the log. I'm impressed with the engineering. I keep learning that there is so much more to this than I had ever imagined; thanks for teaching us and entertaining us. Great sense of humor building up too, you guys are nut cases. I'm a bit worried about Nik buying you a crane though. I wonder does he mean a wooden crane like the one he used on his house? Also, tiny black insects were visible in the video. Are insects a big problem for these houses? I know you mentioned that the yellow treatment may help but in general, does one have to treat regularly for insect damage?

Those tiny black insects are bark beetles and they only eat soft layer of bark. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bark_beetle In our country insects lay eggs in fresh wood and larva stay there until it grows, at that point they leave wood and search fresh wood for next generation. In general they are not a problem because they don't come back in dry wood, they leave some small tunnels in the wood and exit hole. Of course there are some insects that attack dry wood also, impregnation works for those and it is good to treat the wood with impregnation every couple of years. We talk with Nik about the crane but he newer specified what crane did he think to give us. You got me thinking now.

@@naturalloghouse I actually would love to build a house, and I’m a girl ,but I’m too small to lift anything because I only weigh 103 pounds , but I like the smell of wood 🪵 so I pretty much can a only make a chair 🪑 and that’s kind of heavy to lift lol 😂. And. GLORY,BE TO MY SAVIOR KING JESUS ✝️😇. Have a fun ,happy, day. I always do. If I could build a house I would make sure that they had skylights for the bathroom in for my closet so I could actually see in there , and I definitely would not want a big house because I’m too adventurous and want to go fishing and be outside so small house would be perfect so you wouldn’t have to clean it all day and homemade furniture would be nice you could build crops on that land and have chickens running around 😇. If I build a house I would not have cabinets up on top because they’re too high for me to reach it I’m only 5/ 1 , 1/2 so I would just have you know the cabinets are on the bottom and I would have an island in the middle with my stove on it it’s just a wooden countertop nothing too fancy about the only thing expensive that I would have in the house would be a big TV Actually I would love to have an outdoor kitchen no with a roof because I like cooking outside everything taste better when it’s cooked outside on the grill even in the snow. I wouldn’t have a bar because I can’t drink I get drunk on cough syrup. But I would have a bar outside for other people if I take two sips of alcohol it’s just too much for me. 😂 of course it would have a TV you know like a sports bar , where you could watch football and I love the horse 🐴. Race too and of course it would have country Western music playing outside that would be my dream life but pretty much just fishing 🎣 Rock collecting. You could buy a used truck and build your own camper in it and save yourself lots of money just put a bathroom in there and a bed in there and a little stove and a little table and a window and go camping all the time you should really grow your own food because there’s so many diseases around you don’t know what they put in your food you shouldn’t go out to eat you should just make your own food. And from now on please show us the inside of the house because you only show us how to make the outside of the house but we don’t get to see the inside and you know how us women are you could actually build your own house out in the middle of the woods in a mud fireplace and a mud stove it’s actually free just go up deep deep into the mountains where there’s a lake where there’s fish just live there for free you could skip paying rent and all of that stuff

Thank you Rhonda for sharing. Your dreams are beautiful. Be don't build the inside of the house unfortunately, maybe here and there a client ask us to build some furniture (there are a few videos like that on our channel), but mostly we are a company that build the outside of the house. Have a great day.

I agree with Aamber. The music is too loud and intrusive and I like to hear what you guys are saying. Brilliant videos otherwise.
