That launch event yesterday was insufferable - a coporate 'rah rah' speech of "we're awesome, you're awesome, Triple H is awesome, we're awesome, you're awesome, Netflix is awesome, everything is awesomeeeee" over and over again. It was sickening lol. Triple H and Logan Paul presented as the main characters - lack of true star power there outside of CM Punk. I put myself in the shoes of a non-WWE fan, or casual, who may have tuned in to the event to see what the 'RAW on Netflix' hype was about. Would it have made me want to watch? Absolutely not. Is Gunther captivating? Nope, sorry. Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley fued being presented as the crème de la crème of storytelling and the best they've got in the women's division? Come on now - neither can cut a good promo to save their life and the writing has been immature garbage. This is the Triple H era - better than it's ever been - boom period👊

This is JR9's NXT Round up for 2nd last NXT of the year. Positives: Show started with Oba Femi defeating Axiom. It was a really good match one of Oba's best matches to date. Axiom as always delivers big & most importantly looked good even in defeat. Finish was Oba's powerbomb. Although don't usually just like matches starting shows this was good & since Axiom was pulling double duty just like Frazer at Deadline made sense to start the show with it. Jaida Parker got back on track after her loss to Lola at Deadline by defeating Wren Sinclair via her hypnotic finisher. Good stuff Jaida is going to have a massive 2025 can see her winning one of the titles really fast she's that damn good. Was a short but good vignette of Gigi, Tatum & Shotzi sitting with Tatum's doll. Explained why they fit together as a group since they all have labels put on them & that they are going to take down Fatal Influence. I really like the concept of this group again booking will decide how it goes but every single one them actually feels like they fit in the group & not just thrown in randomly. Hoping for big things with them. Axiom & Frazer retained over Gallus. This was another strong title defense with more miscommunication at times when Axiom hit Frazer by accident but ultimately they overcame it & retained. I just love watching Axiom/Frazer tag matches they have so many elements that most tag matches miss & actually tell a story throughout. Still stand by that they are the best tag team in the world right now. Ethan Page came out looking like a broken man. Talking about how nobody understands his journey or the promises made to his family. Saying he promised his daughter he'd win the big one & he did he became the NXT champ. Not only did he become champ but he did it in record time. Faster than Kevin Owens, Finn Balor & Sami Zayn. He made history, going through 18 years of hell to keep his promise to his daughter & he did it. He did it for her, for his son & his wife. Told the crowd they boo if they want but he wants to talk to his wife. He said without her there would be no Ethan Page & he got to live his dream because of her & that's what rips him apart. Since everytime he loses she loses, his kids loses & everyone that blindly supported him lose. Mentioned his daughter looks through his gear bag for the title & is empty handed, he gets videos sent of his soon crying as he can't win & worst when he comes home & sees the disappointment in his wife's eyes that's what's eating him alive. He went on saying he doesn't know if he loves this anymore & he honestly just lost his smile. Je'von Evans then interrupted saying Ethan walked into NXT with a cocky attitude & ego but that isn't really him & he knows the real Ethan Page. Saying he noticed it at Heatwave when he one the title & looked at his family & said I love you to them. He said that smile was of a proud Dad & Wife who worked hard for 18 to get there. Je'von then told him he deserves be here. Je'von told him to drop the All Ego stuff & just be the real him whilst saying he is proud of him. Ethan thanked Je'von & said he's made it all clear. He shouldn't be worried about losing his smile, he should worry about taking Je'vons before hitting him with the mic. Ethan then got a chair wrapped around Je'von's neck & stomped on it. Their used of blood was fantastic & added so much to the brutal attack as they made it seem like Je'von lost some of his teeth which obviously makes sense narratively as Ethan said he would take his smile. This segment was just fantastic, Ethan nailed his role & so did Je'von who continues to impress on the mic. Love the execution of the attack & sure they used HBK loses his smile thing as a reference but they managed to make it work & actually feel natural to the performers. Do like the idea of a Ethan & Je'von story as that could benefit both individuals especially Je'von. Negatives: This result was so bad. Lash & Jakara defeated Sol & Zaria. Just that sentence alone deserves a negative. Like how can you take 2 of the best talents in the division & have them lose to glorified jobbers. It's pathetic. Sol getting pinned by Lash doesn't sit well at all & this is why I have so many complaints about the division. As although it's got the most depth barely any of the ladies have momentum since they all are basically 50-50 booked except Giulia, Stephanie & Rok-C. Sol is someone you need to invest losses like that won't help & Zaria shouldn't be losing in general with her size. This was just such a poor booking decision. Plus it got sloppy due to Lash & Jakara not being able to keep up. After the good Gigi/Tatum/Shotzi vignette Fatal Influence were backstage before they were for some reason interrupted by Alba & Isla who pretty much just mocked them Jacy in particular due to her history with Alba (Helping Mandy retain) before leaving. This setup a match next week Alba/Isla vs Jacy/Jazmyn. Now I love Alba & Isla however this didn't make much sense since they are supposed to be Heels. Plus not a fan of the match next week as neither team should be losing. Only intriguing bit was when Fallon said one of things Gigi/Shotzi & Tatum don't have is the champion. Jacy gave a strange look towards Fallon which Fallon didn't see. So no idea if that's suppose to hint at Jacy turning on her but it needs to happen as Jacy as a sidekick for a 2nd time makes no sense. Main event of Trick & Eddy was fine in terms of what they produced however wasn't a fan of them doing the culmination to if off air. As the finish saw Trick hit Trick shot on Eddy & 2 referees counted the pin each saying the other pinned each other as Trick & Eddy's shoulders were down. However we never got the result from Ava on air as off air they announced it as a draw & Trick retaining. Eddy lost it & even pushed HBK. That's why it's so frustrating not doing it on air as it would've been a good moment. So yeah gets a negative simply for not airing as otherwise like this as it will likely lead to Triple Threat now Eddy vs Trick vs Oba at New Year's Evil that way Trick can retain without pinning Oba & they can save Oba vs Trick for Stand/Deliver. Overall: An enjoyable NXT for the most part. Like Axiom/Frazer stuff was great & Jaida stood out again. Then Ethan Page & Je'von stole the show with that great segment. Did have flaws like Sol/Zaria losing for no reason & not doing the Trick & Eddy post match activity on air & Alba/Isla going back to NXT but didn't hurt the show too much. Final Grade: 6/10

As Jerry Lawler once said about Shawn Michaels except I'm going to say it about Hunter....'HHH's ego is SO big it has it's own zip code!' Good Question BC Why IS Hunter everywhere? How does it make the business better? I guess there are too many fanboys of Hunter they really don't mind him everywhere...Guess What I was a Stone Cold and Rock fan in the Attitude Era...Hunter was always 'Eh..' To me....I was a SHAWN fan Hunter was just sort of a tag along to me......Logan Paul is like sticky gum on your shoe...and picks up shit everywhere you walk. Logan will probably get a title and show up when he wants...Great 'Cookin' Hunter Like we really need another absentee champ.....Also with the ratings for everything on SNME doesn't surprise me in the slightest. It was cool to see the set up's and Jesse Ventura but other than that nothing really was 'GREAT' about it except Chelsea winning.....NO STARS brings NO RATINGS (take a hint Hunter) Great vid and as always Keep On Rockin' BC!

Triple H sucks as a booker. Storylines are repetitive, dull, predictable, and boring with no direction whatsoever. Triple h also doesn't know how to help or create new stars.

Bc I had caught the Netflix kickoff yesterday and I was not shocked knowing that logan paul would still be a part of this event because of the bottom dollar between him and HHH after he first said that he is retired. HHH is always front in center as the so call real important star COO chief officer for the new era that is not even close to the eras we had before, hell Jesse ventura has more star power than hunter even for one night. Outside of cm punk, roman reigns, The rock and La knight who by the way wasn't even part of the big kick off show, they have much more star power than hhh. Every time they said he is cookin I always say he keeps burning the kitchen.

I didn't watch the launch event yesterday because I had to run some errands and I had to deliver Christmas cookies to friends but i did see that Logan is gonna be moving to Raw, my question is why? Isn't he supposed to have a boxing match with Conor McGregor in India? I did watch a little bit of SNME at a local bar sipping some beers and it wasn't all that bad, hopefully 2025 is a better year for the company and if I was Hunter, one of the things I'd get rid of for the new year is the pathetic roll-up pin, it's time to get rid of it.

BC the new bar for WWE diehards is as long it's doing better than AEW...saw one WWE hardcore taunting about the 1.5mil on primetime TV & the 600, 000 on peacock as a victory for WWE & a loss for AEW....😂 The bar is so low now It's incredible.
