I think there was some film (because I'm incapable of discussing anything without some kind of media reference) in which a character asked another character about what the bible says. The character was met with something along the lines of "That what you do matters". If you don't belief in morality, then anything your actions are just mistakes (" I betrayed someone. Oops.", "I beat someone with a baseball bat. Oh, well."). It's not just christianity. In the ancient egyptian religion (as an example of a distant religion), I think the story was you'd die and be weighed against a feather. I'm not sure Anubis would change his action based on how successful you were. The common thread to most religions is the notion that there's something beyond this and it's decoupled from success. That you can become something so loathsome that you're worthy of being nullified, being sent screaming into a lake of fire, or having your soul eaten by Ammit.

And remember when god allowed the devil to murder 10 children because god wanted to win a bet? Please read your own Bible. @@alejandroduenas1828True, but “as a Christian” can come the wrong connotation these days. “As a follower of Jesus” doesn’t give any confusion-it clearly shows you follow Jesus and not the religion. And besides, anybody can label themselves as a Christian, they can believe in God, but so does Satan. Do you actually follow Jesus, and seek him daily? That’s the a biggest difference.

I’d rather eat the plants directly instead of filtering them through an innocent animal who doesn’t deserve to die. 🫐 4. I’m vegan because I don’t want to pay anyone to pin down mother cows & force them to be pregnant and then to kidnap their baby boy cow for the purpose of murdering them, just so people can steal their milk and sell it in stores to use for their taste pleasure. 🥦 5. I’m vegan because, I don’t feel right eating bacon, sausage or ham, because that means paying people in the pork industry to cut the tails, testicles & teeth off baby boy pigs & kill them at just 6 months old. I just don’t want anyone to do that to them. 🍌 6. I’m vegan because I don’t want to just say that I think animals have moral value; I also want to show it with my actions. 🫛 7. If you're born believing in the comfort of a safe space and suddenly go through a hard time, you WILL realize your faith did absolutely fuck all to help you with that. Read about Islam. The trinity is condemned in the Holy Quran and such revelation does not exist in the Bible.
@Untitled7427911 ай бұрын
@eliasziad7864 First of all, God is almighty, he can do anything and be more then one at once. I don't think most Christians think that Jesus, god and the holy spirit is 3 different gods, but one sharing three "bodies". The Bible does not spesificly say that Jesus is god, but there are verses that support Trinity in the bible. In the New Testament, Jesus refers to God as the Father and promises the coming of the Holy Spirit after His departure.Verses like Matthew 28:19 mention baptizing "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."In John 1:1, it's stated that "the Word was with God, and the Word was God," which is often interpreted to refer to Jesus Christ's divinity.The baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3:16-17 describes the simultaneous presence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

@Untitled7427911 ай бұрын
@eliasziad4739 "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30): This verse is often understood as Jesus expressing unity or oneness of essence with the Father, which aligns with the concept of the Trinity. It's interpreted by some as implying a shared divine nature between Jesus and God the Father within the Godhead."Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58): The use of the phrase "I am" by Jesus is significant. "I am" is reminiscent of the divine name revealed to Moses in the Old Testament (Exodus 3:14). This verse is sometimes interpreted as Jesus claiming eternal existence, aligning himself with God's eternal nature and thereby supporting the concept of the Trinity."Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9): Jesus' statement here is seen by some as indicating a profound unity or connection between himself and God the Father. It's interpreted as suggesting that Jesus, as part of the Trinity, reveals the nature and character of God to humanity.Acceptance of Worship: Jesus accepting worship from his disciples (e.g., in Matthew 14:33) is viewed as significant since worship is typically reserved for God alone. This acceptance of worship is seen by proponents of the Trinity as implying Jesus' divine nature and equality with God.

My best friend is religious. I am not (at least, not really, it's complicated lmao). Throughout our friendship of over 10 years, we were inseparable, and even when she moved and lost contact with me, our friendship remained strong and when we reconnected again, it was like we'd never been apart. Some of our best conversations together were based on religion and talking about what we did/didn't believe in and what sorts of stances we have on something as a result. Neither of us have ever walked away feeling embarrassed, ridiculed, or upset after any of these. I've learned more than I ever expected from her, and I like to think I've either opened her mind up to other perspectives or have helped her solidify her beliefs and help her put her thoughts into better words than before. That's how you manage a friendship where there's a religious difference. You talk with an open mind, and you talk knowing there are things you don't understand about the other but *want* to understand. Whatever the hell Logan Paul was doing here is the anti-example. It hurts my heart to see those snippets and I'm amazed that these guys kept such a calm, level head and didn't throw him under the bus. The conversation suggests a deeper meaning beyond mockery. It highlights the importance of self-belief and resilience, regardless of religious beliefs. Religion, often seen as a crutch, is like a placebo for those who lack confidence in themselves. Logan is an example of how not to talk to people. If they are religious, dont blaspheme in front of them. If they are trans, dont be homophobic in front of them. If they are addicts, don't be mocking their history. We all live in different beliefs, it's pretty simple not to be a dog poop person.

My original comment was negatively reviewing impaulsive and while I still stand on that opinion, I went and watched that full section of the podcast and it isn't logan constantly ridiculing him. KSI and Mike were backing jidion up and saying they hope it works even if it doesn't result in.a ton of views and logan ends up agreeing and saying that the world could use some guidance and positive direction. Tbh this is a rare brett L and misreported logans attitude towards jidion's actions and it wouldn't have happened if she actually watched the whole section of footage which is shorter than this video instead of a tiktok clip.

Verify everything you see regardless of who says it. With that said, ive watched it and I agree with Brett. Logan Paul is a dispicable human being and we as a species are worse off having him alive. He is a scammer, he is a fraud and he is at a core, a very bad human.
@FullyAlive33 Жыл бұрын
@@nogames8982 I mean It could be a mistake. I can totally see it being a slow news day and someone from their team scooping up half a story and sloppily throwing it together. No matter how good someone is they're only human and they will eventually make a mistake. I'm a bit disappointed too though.

Yeah she’s only a year behind and conveniently leaves out facts like the last clip she showed of impaulsive where she didn’t even including the positive things that Logan said about jidion even he reacted to the impaulsive clip and thanked Logan for his words also one more thing the podcast that jidion was on with Logan was wellll over a year ago so what he said on that podcast had absolutely nothing to do with jidion switching to a more Christian friendly one plus if you go back and look up jidions past content in his videos he definitely wasn’t very Christian

I am grateful to see this kind of content posted! We need to call out intolerance for religious beliefs. No one should be ridiculed for their religious beliefs, and we should have respectful conversations. I'm so proud these two gentlemen stand firm in their calling and don't compromise!
@gustory1186 Жыл бұрын
Religious beliefs should not be free from ridicule just like any other belief system. Wouldn't it be crazy to claim that you should not ridicule conservatism? If a belief can't cope with ridicule then it isn't sustainable.

✝️ 10 Random Reasons Why I’m Vegan - In An Infinitely Long List: 1 I’m vegan because when I read the Bible part that says “Thou Shalt Not Steal”, I came to realize that God also doesn’t want me to steal the freedom, family members, body parts, secretions or the right to live from dogs, pigs, cats, cows, chickens, turkeys, lambs, rabbits, or anyone if I don’t have to. 🌱 2. I’m vegan because I like to help the environment by not depleting the oceans of fish or to take the whales out, and force them to do tricks in swimming pools.🍉 3. I’m vegan because I don’t want to pay anyone to burn down the rain forests to grow crops for cows who we created in the first place. I’d rather that people not rape cows into existence to begin with. 🫛 7. I’m vegan because if you were the victim, I’d also protect you. 🍑 8. I’m vegan because I don’t believe that anyone’s eating disorder is ever the animals’ fault. Whether someone is overweight or underweight, because of psychological trauma, essentially, these are merely THINKING disorders, which a therapist can help someone overcome. There is never a justification to kill an animal just because of one’s own erroneous thoughts. 🍆 9. I’m vegan because I learned that eating eggs is unnecessary and that the baby boy chicks are being suffocated with their brothers in large plastic bags or macerated in giant bloody blenders just because they will never grow up to be able to lay eggs. 🍏 10. I’m vegan because I believe in telling the truth, in learning, and in trying to undo the harm I did in the past and because, even though I will never be perfect, being vegan is such an easy way to do my best, to live my life in line with my own morals.🍇 🩵

Me and my good friend discuss religion all the time. I’m Christian & she’s Muslim. Neither of us try and convert the other, but we talk about the similarities & differences our religions have (which is so much more than I thought!). We are both very faithful people, we just love to learn about the other’s beliefs & religious culture! But I’ve had many people shame me like that for following Christ & Living Biblically.

To be fair, Logan did (sort of) apologise later when he spoke about how he went to Qatar and everything was going wrong for him during his trip and he thought it was because of what he said about George's beliefs.

Yea, I saw a vid about the Logan Paul situation a few days ago and it seemed like Logan was actually starting to believe in Christianity, saying that he thought God was intervening in his life and he said that he forgave that dude he was boxing because he realized that an entire religion was based around forgiveness and saw how powerful that was. I don't know that he's really Christian, but he seems to be headed down that path.
