Santi, the underwhelming Waller segment was likely done to give the fans in attendance a chance to experience the Seth and Cody entrances and see them live. I really think it was less storyline than it was fanservice to the Australians especially after no Roman, no Gunther due to the visa issue, and the advertised Punk before he got hurt. And looking at it in that regard, it was done well--even though yes, it didn't really do anything for the storyline.

Bloodline would have least been available to do something, it would have actually paid off the Roman/Waller conversion (he tells him to jump Cody and/or Seth in exchange for something big like getting him and the Rock on a future talk show), and would have got Cody and Waller on the card which was basically the point anyway (have Seth be in Cody’s corner maybe to get him on there or give him a short promo segment I dunno)

My problem with the way Drew won his Chamber was the dude JUST had two sneaky heel eliminations earlier in the match but needed Logan's brass-knuckles to get rid of a dying Randy Orton? I know they're setting up Logan-Orton in some capacity, but if they're not, the final elimination should've been cleaner for Drew.

I have a feeling we're getting Logan vs Orton vs KO - Orton eliminated both Logan and KO, and KO's character work / fued with Logan has been SO fun - it'd be a shame to drop it in favour of Orton considering Logan-KO have some incredible chemistry. Logan would likely have Waller / Thoery ringside anyways so there's room for the third part of the Triple Threat to be fighting off those two. EDIT: There were also reports of KO working through an injury - if you make it a fun Triple Threat it takes some of the workload off him and who better than Randy Orton to rely on a smooth worker who'll keep KO safe & help someone like Logan.

I think Rollins and CM Punk getting injured likely messed up some matches that were planned for Elimination chamber, and the Grayson Waller Effect was put on to not disappoint fans in not seeing Cody, Seth, and Grayson. I went to the show and I definitely was looking forward to seeing those three the most and CM Punk. I was devo when punk got injure but I'm a cody crybaby so that was sick. How could I forget to mention seeing Randy Orton live in person was so sick. I recording all of the entrances and was expecting Randy to come out last for the chamber, so when he came out I was so excited. And he genuinely had me fooled at the end I thought fuck Randy is seriously injured here this might be him done, but that RKO. Others have said the RKO on Logan and Drew were predictable but for me they got me, from outta no where! Sick night and I hope they come to Sydney so I don't have to travel across the country next time ;) P.S. We were much louder than the broadcast picked up

Predictable isn't bad, but the way we got there was a bit underwhelming. The quick ending to the women's match and how Becky seemed to be getting tossed around when she should have been fire was lame. I was rooting for Tiffany to win because she made the match better despite knowing Becky would. Also, i hated the beginning of the match where Becky and Naomi kept doing roll ups. I hate that segment whenever it is done just as much as everyone is doing suicide dives. Just do something different, lol. The men's match made LA Knight look strong but the way they kept the doors open for so long I knew something was happening. Also, Logan is hitting Randy when you can see Logan's foot on camera wasn't a shock. I kept repeating, "Logan is still in there. He's costing Randy." I also agree I was much more critical because of the predictability.

I had a feeling that things changed with the greater focus since the build-up to the 4 Way at the Rumble on LA and AJ beefing. I thought maybe that would transition into another 4 Way at Mania for the US title with those two and Logan and KO, but now that doesn't seem to be the case with Randy and Logan's interaction in the chamber match My guess now is that it's AJ vs LA, Randy vs Logan, and maybe KO vs Sami, though it does feel weird to have no payoff to the KO-Paul finish at the Rumble.

I’m not soured on the whole experience of the Waller effect. I was gassed after the first three matches because I was popping so hard between the Crazy amazing introduction I had of Tiffany and the absolute classic that was The New Catch Republican vs Judgement Day. I needed something to rest on, and it was genuinely nice having them there. The Grayson turn was pretty cool as well. I’m just not as sour as y’all, I guess because I am just along for the ride and I guess I didn’t have the same expectations. There was no reason to think Rock or Reigns would be there, so I didn’t pump myself for it.
