bad ass set up in that GX. im going back and forth on the 470 and 460. im in Texas and own a 2005 4runner with the 2-uz fe and she runs great but its a 2wd model and in the future i want to do what your doing. however im not in a rush and want to save some cash to get one those lexus suvs.

The rate price increases for gas are going you will probably be able to afford it sooner than you think when people start offloading the V8s for cheap. I was just seeing GX470 prices starting to go back to normal. Also though with these gas prices im starting to regret my gx470. 😅

@@TheCajunGaijin haha ya I’m holding off until recession or atleast stuff goes down bc everything is outrageous currently. Friend just bought a new Tacoma off road and it was like 60k. And wasn’t a pro. Vans are super high bc van life popularity and all the overland vehicles bc the same reason. CraY times. But ya gas is gna be a prob. Kinda makes me question my path and choice to get sequoia or gx but there is not many other options. Need it yo be in the range of paying cash and not finance. Have towing power. Capable for normal off road uses. And reliable. Affordable as in like 10-15k bht maybe push it to 20 if I have to. I just prefer to mot have a car payment.

@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD I wouldn't say an issue but maybe cumbersome? With spool lag I could see getting a boost of power when you don't necessarily want it. Whereas a supercharger gives you almost the same output consistency. I have a 2010 FJ and would love to get a Magnuson SC someday. Of course I'd probably do a regear first before spending that kind of money.

I remember in the review of the GX you complained about fuel economy. Did/do you conseder getting a fuel saving tune? From what I've heard they are pretty affective and you don't lose any power.
