I needed this video! I’m 29 weeks and have been battling with almost the same decision. I think in the back of my mind I wanted a C-section so the baby is safe, but I can’t stop hearing the words of family, friends, and medics workers acting like “I should’ve never had a C-section.” Thank you for this video!

As a multi c-section mama, you choose what's best for you and your baby. 17 years ago when I had my first born, I pushed for 3 hours and he was stuck in my pelvic bone. I was exhausted, his vitals were dropping so at that point an emergency c-section needed to happen. He was only 6lbs so it wasn't like he was this huge baby. I opted for a 2nd c-section when I had my daughter 3 years later because it was the right choice for me, she was a lot larger and I just didn't want that stress or worry about my baby's health if I tried to vbac.

Similar story. I planned for a vbac. But after laboring for five days at home. Instincts told me to go to hospital. Baby was STUCK indeed. He couldn't get through my pelvis either.

Im a female, but I’ve never had a child or been pregnant. I also don’t plan to have any children. However, it takes a lot to come on here and be open and vulnerable like this. No one should be judging you for sharing this information that you don’t even have to with us. Im wishing you a healthy and safe delivery, and I cannot wait meet the new little one and see all the new videos to come! God bless you and your family Morgan 😘

Morgan, it really sounds like you’re making the best decision for baby. I completely agree and understand the want to have a vaginal birth because it can be such a unique experience, but luckily we live in an age where c section is very safe and a really great option. You are doing what’s right for your family and it’s great to see someone who can rationally and logically think through all the scenarios and ultimately make the decision that’s going to work for you. Good luck with the birth and I wish you guys the best!!! Stay positive and trust that God/the universe (whatever you believe in) has your back love.

You are making the right decision Morgan! I sure can relate to your situation. I have the same shape pelvis and according to my doctor, during my 5th c-section, I had her visibly check my pelvis while I was cut open and she told me that she couldn't hardly fit her fist in my pelvic arch and that having a vaginal birth for sure was not possible! All together, I had 6 c-sections, and if it gives you any encouragement, all of them went well! So, if you are wanting a big family still, it is quite possible!! prayers, love and best of luck sent to you as you bring your 2nd baby boy into the world on Friday! I have a feeling he will be just as cute as his brother! ♥

You are doing the right thing going with the C-section, it’s the safest for the baby. You are a woman, you don’t need to labor to official become a woman. You’ve grown two babies in your body, you don’t need to experience labor pains to be a woman! Be proud of yourself, you are a MOM! I wish I could tell you to calm down, but I remember how those hormones are like a roller coaster at this point in your pregnancy. Just remember tomorrow your new baby will be in your arms! Tell Beckham Happy Birthday!

Hi Morgan! I had a c section with my first baby. She’s 2.5 now. I just had my second baby on 2-22-22 and it was a repeat c section. My recovery for my first was rough. I couldn’t move everything hurt and I took a long time to feel normal. My second c section recovery was amazing. I’m not sure what the difference was but it’s been not even a month and I’m moving just like I was before. Everyone is different but I went in thinking the recovery was going to be awful like the first and it wasn’t! I’m hoping that’s the case for you!! Good luck!! :)

I got induced with the mindset of having a vbac. I ended up needing an emergency c-section again.. my 2nd c-section recovery was amazing compared to my 1st recovery. I felt completely normal barely any pain could walk easy etc. I had a 22 month old at the time and since I felt so good I did too much to fast. My steri strips wouldn’t stay on because my incision kept bleeding. Make sure to follow the lift restrictions because my incision ended up getting infected and coming open since I didn’t follow the rules.

I just found you on youtube, and I’m so happy I did. I’m currently in the hospital due to complications until delivery. We are delivering via c section on 3/23 and I’m nervous. Watching your first c section video was very helpful, emotional, amazing to see. I feel the same, we have to do what is best for our babies and ourselves. I’m still nervous, but I’m starting to get more mentally prepared and appreciate this video 💜

Your video about your first C-section helped me SO MUCH before I had my scheduled C-section. It's the best video on KZbin for what to expect during a c-section. I too really wanted the "experience" of a vaginal birth, but in the end we decided it was safest for our baby (who was breech) to be delivered via C-section. All the best with your next birth and new little one!

You weighed your options and chose what’s best for YOU and that’s what matters. I love watching these because I am currently 35 almost 36 weeks and if I don’t go into labor naturally by 40 weeks 3 days we are having a c section. But I am trying for a vbac. It’s nice seeing everybody’s perspective and getting more knowledge. If I had your situation and pelvic issues I would do the same!

I’m not a doctor and don’t know a ton but I’ve always heard generally vaginal delivery after c section has higher risks than doing another c section. Even if my doctor told me it was possible for a VBAC I would still be so nervous after having in engrained in my head that it could be riskier. No hate of course! It’s everyone’s choice to make with their team of doctors, as every pregnant is different along with every delivery 🥰🥰 good luck! So excited for your family ❤️
@hg.13.2 жыл бұрын
The only additional risk with a vbac would be a uterine rupture which is a 1% chance. So no, a vbac is not riskier than a csection. A csection has many risks as well. Just wanted to clear that. Either way, both options are good.

I had a c section, 2 vbacs, then another c section. Both c sections were originally because the babies were breech, but my 2nd when they pulled him out he had the cord around him twice and it was knotted and they said a vaginal delivery could have been really dangerous so I ended up being really thankful that I was having the c section. Also I have two boys almost identical in age to yours, March 12 2020 and March 8 2022. Hope your c section recovery is going well! 💕

You should never have to justify YOUR decision of how you have your baby! I also struggled with the decision of whether to have a VBAC or repeat c-section. My second was due almost exactly 18 months after my first was born, and my OB said I was the perfect candidate for a VBAC (only reason for my first CS was baby was breech). Long story short, we opted for the repeat CS due to some health concerns with me that we worried would result in an emergency CS anyways. I have NO regrets opting for the CS. My recovery this time around was a breeze. The only difficult part was not being able to pick up my 18 month old 😭 … but a perk was that hubby had to do bath time and he still gives her baths to this day 🤣 Wishing you the best of luck! All your stress will be gone once baby is here :)

Morgan, you are making the right decision for you. I would do the same t hing if I was in your place. Don't feel like you have to justify your decision for anyone. My first baby was breech, so I had a b-day section with him. With my second, I would've liked to try a v-bac, even though the chance of a uterine rupture was low, if anything would've happened to her just because I wanted a vbac, it just wasn't worth the risk to me. Everything will be great! Relax and enjoy every second! Can't wait to see him!

20 plus hours of labor for both of my vaginal delivery babies. I was tired, gross looking and in no way shape or form going to be letting anyone take pictures of me lol I think I would have preferred a c section. It is much more organized it seems, more calm, no pain of labor. “But of course pain from the c section recovery must be painful”. You do what’s best for you and baby.

My second at 33 weeks my blood pressure suddenly spiked and I was life flighted to a hospital with a NICU cause ours didn’t have one. My son was just little and had to mature a bit he was in the NICU for 19 days then we got to go home. Now he will be 3 in May and you would never know he was premature. God bless you!!

Depends on how many kids you want. If you want a larger family, then it's better to opt for a VBAC. The chances of placenta accreta goes up significantly after 2 or more C-Sections, and most people will need a hysterectomy which can be devastating.
