When I see a stand alone photo/picture of the Eureka jack, it looks larger than the dimensions specified to me me. It looks like a 4.25/4.5 inch knife. This I think is because of the unique handle shape it has and it's beautiful spearmaster blade with the deep belly and cut swedges... Either way a very handsome knife, anyone saying different is plain 101% jealous. Shame from what you say you won't be able to enjoy the knife, but that no.73 looks sweet as too. Enjoy 👍😁

Very nice in that stag - I just bought it in the Goldenrod Camel Bone and that's lovely as well. Like yours, the secondary blade is off-centre to the pile side of the recess, but also like you I don't mind as long as it's not rubbing or touching anything. Different folks regard different things as 'faults' - I'm not concerned about dead-centring, but I had to return the first #92 I got sent because I didn't like what to my eye were poorly matched covers and slightly ragged fit between one of the covers and its adjacent liner - very pleased with the replacement though. Another nice detail is the way the secondary blade uses slightly thinner bladestock than the primary blade, and has a proportionately narrower recess and backspring to match - delightful attention to detail. My first GEC is a #48 in Sambar Stag which I bought last summer when I hadn't even heard of GEC. I'd never paid anything like that for a knife before and suspected I was being ripped off, but I couldn't pass it by - it looked so good. Then I learned about GEC and realised I'd paid a very fair price and started to appreciate the quality. My bank balance has been feeling the pain ever since as I've hunted down more examples.

That is the best stag I've seen in a while. Stag frequently isn't my preference, especially when it's too dark, but somehow that set has that intangible quality that can make stag really pretty. I just wish GEC didn't use sambar stag because I don't agree with using endangered flora or fauna, even though I know that's what a lot of collectors prefer.

I prefer elk stag for that reason (plus it still looks great).

I tend to prefer American elk of all the antler covers but it's the least frequently used.

The Reason I like this 92 so much is finally a spearpoint blade with a secondary blade that isn’t a pen blade

That's true! The coping makes a great secondary
