Austin Denotter the forester really liked it and passed it onto the landowners. I was cutting close to the road and did a spur of the moment video by hitting the pause button and didn't edit anything. Luckily it went fine. Thanks for the nice comment.

What is the criteria for using the timbco as opposed to the harvester? Seems like the harvester would cut a machine out of the equation

curt648 we're cutting not far from the old Essar site. Did you want directions so you can come help? 😀. We're on a Blandin sale so the spruce will go there. Where about are you working?

David Haley right now I'm going to school in Grand Rapids to get my forestry degree. Currently a partner in my dad's logging business otta central Wisconsin. (lots of driving) Been all over up there doing forestry work though. Was wondering your take on that John deere slasher. we're running a 182 hood and it's getting time to update....

curt648 you're right in my backyard. ICC does a good job. My nephew went there and then to Steven's Point. The 437E Deere has been good so far.

Spruce there is a Verso mill in Duluth but we don't send them anything. We send more of our wood to UPM Blandin for them to make paper.

Most mills here in Minnesota do 100". PCA in International Falls does tree length.

@@davidhaley7053 I live in Pennsylvania...work at a Domtar papermill. Had to look up Upm. They make a coated sheet, we make uncoated like copy and envelope paper. Did they end up shutting down the #5 machine there?

Yes they did. Last Christmas. It's hurt us bad.
