Good luck with the channel. I like the measuring stick. We used them when I was in the woods in 70's and 80's.

Thanks KH! I bought this small wood lot in NH for a father son project. (Dad was in the woods getting hitch during this video) Dad started logging in 1949 driving a team of horses hauling pulp at the age of 5... Yes I said 5 years old. Fast forward 75 years and he is still logging (mostly as a hobby). It was an honor to leave Colorado for 6 weeks and spend that time with the man who taught me to be the man I am today.
