Very useful tips, especially on panning the guitars and adjusting the delay on each track. Also love the advice on leading in with fills. Thank you, Doug! P.S. I didn’t care for the way the mastering assistant sounded but I generally love its results. In this situation I might try some EQ adjustments and re analyze again.

Not that I'm an expert but I would have faded in out the arrangment when needed. Cool process. Thanks, Doug.

To be honest Jim, this is not even close to being finished, I would later start adding ornaments, more effects etc, and more sections. Plus a lot more attention to mixing details too. I made a much more detailed video on this kind of production arrangement and mixing with one of the producer packs, that one goes into real detail on mixing, production and arrangement, probably a good idea to watch that too if you’re interested in this kind of thing. Here is the link to that, it’s a 46 track project and covers a lot of very cool stuff you can do. kzbin.info/www/bejne/boemY32aZsaVfbM

You might not have written the parts but the piece you put together is awesome

It still amazes me, those generated loops! I don’t use them, but this is a really good idea, just to practice the arranging and producing thing. Thank you Doug, inspiring!

Yes, it’s a great way to get good with arrangements, production, mixing and using effects. It’s a good way to learn.

It sounds like a theme to a 90's US teen drama. Think Dawson's Creek or Party Of Five type of show, so I like it, ignoring the finetuning you might do. I was doing something similar to this a little while ago. Technically I still am when I get back to it, except I was using a sliced and diced midi file in an attempt to create a remix of the song. You went a lot further with this than I did as you changed the audio, I was only rearranging. Cheers.

Seemed to me that the mastering assistant was overdriving your iPad. I packed in using Logic as I had lot of that going on on my 4th gen iPad Pro. Use AUM now and am having more fun with synths and creating weird ambient jams. Still love Koala sampler and Loopy pro too.
