I just started this series and I want to say it’s awesome, I’m not a beginner Logic user but this is so good to put all the info back on track, thanks for doing this!

Hi. Is there a reason you chose mono when going to record? Is this the rule of thumb? Or are there instances when you would choose stereo? Are there any other choices to be had and if so what would be the reasoning for such choices?
@austinshircliff69866 жыл бұрын
Since he is using one mic he used mono. Vocals are typically recorded in mono and then delays and reverbs are used to make them stereo and feel bigger

Austin Shircliff thank you. So when using more than one mic you would choose stereo? Such as for drum recording and such? Also, I noticed when using some of the virtual instruments and some plugins you are given the option to choose stereo or mono sometimes if I’m not mistaken. So why do they give you multiple options in these cases?
